I checked my case status today and CEAC website is showing 'At NVC' status and AOS fee line is gone too. Does this mean that my case is completed and how long it takes NVC to schedule visa interview for Delhi embassy ?  I will check with NVC on Monday.

It means you got a case complete. Our interview is January 25 and we got case complete on November 24. I think interviews are scheduled last week of every month into beginning of next month. You will probably get a February interview in Delhi.

    Congrats :)

I heard NVC takes 11 weeks to review the documents. Is this true ? Whenever I call NVC, they say they process cases after 11 weeks of receiving the documents. NVC received my documents on 11/02. Not sure how long its gonna to take to complete the case.

NVC tells us it takes 11 weeks but currently they are taking 6-7 weeks to review.

    Yes I did!

I had trouble sleeping last night because of it I was so worried when I never received and I checked at 3am and I had 2 emails!

I actually tried paying it from my phone from bed but it gave me an error.

So it looks like when they do it it does come through till the next day, the emails came at 12:12am

Going to try to pay it now and hope it goes through, it takes 2-3 days to clear just like a direct deposit.

So close to getting those docs in!

What exactly did you say to them?  I want to call them later today too.

Ugh, they said they checked with a supervisor and were told that I need to wait for the official notice from them in order to update my status and unlock the fee.

I was told the same thing.  I have to wait for the official letter.  The woman on the phone said there is something they have to review before they can send an invoice. I don't remember what it was because it was super long.  I don't have to choose an agent since I went through an agent so my attorney is automatically my agent.  I asked her time frame for how long it would take and she said she did not know.

    How exciting!! :D

    Congrats!!

    Whats a tier 2 officer?

Tier 1 is the customer service center who has access to minimum access to cases.  They basically answer general questions.  You can request to speak to a tier 2 officer who may have more access to cases.  I actually called few times and they always gave me general answers but this officer told me it was approved.

Went to the local field office of USCIS today to check on my step son I -130 petition of USC.

The officer opened the case . He immediately told me that my request for an expedited service has been denied .  Yes, I applied for it because his biological father is physically abusive , his safety is in trouble if he continues to be in China for longer period of time.

Second, he told me that my case is already assigned to an officer for review or process in TSC .  He did not know when it is going to be completed but he could tell me that the application was not lost .

Hope this helps for the late Feb filers ..  I saw PD as late of Feb 10 has been approved but nothing later than that has been reported from TSC.

So I can just walk into a local USCIS office and ask about my case? Did you have to make an appointment ?
