I'm glad it helped! You will receive it really fast, trust me. Between sending it all in and biometrics it's all very quick. The real long ( ugh ) wait starts after that. Not sure why it's so long anymore, people say it's a year to get your GC  and I heard it's used to be like 6-8 months. Good luck to you in this long journey! Anticipation is killing me :D

You were right Bella, I received my Appointment Notice on July 22 and my fingerprints on August 2! :)

Oh nooooo... I had my biometrics on August 2... and I really liked my previous pic.  I know I will not like this one :(

Hello all, just an update for those still waiting for their biometrics notice. I received a letter today stating "This notice informs you that USCIS is able to reuse your previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics data. USCIS will run the same security checks and use your biometrics data as in the past, however, it is not necessary for you to appear at a USCIS application support center for a biometrics appointment. The biometrics fee will not be refunded."

I guess this worked out, would've been great if they sent something earlier! The biometrics data USCIS has on file is over 2.5 years old (at least I look nice in the photo they have!).

    Good luck to all!

Since your NOA is July 10, I would suggest you also start following the July i-751 thread, if you haven't already, to see what the current processing times are:

Thank you piano, I received the Appointment Notice on July 22 :)

Thanks for sharing. But I don't see Bella1464's biometric receiving date there. We live in the same state.  As a matter of fact, I don't see any Indiana biometric data there

I received my NOA on July 9/10. I am a little worried because I have not received my Biometrics letter and according to the spread sheet, people who filed in California, received the letter after 12 days... :( Guess I need to call...

I sent my papers in on 6/23/17. The NOA was issued on the 6/26 and I received it by Friday the 30th. Biometrics appointment was today. So what? 3 weeks....I think

I was going to ask exactly the same... I sent my papers on June, 30 and received the NOA issued on July, 3 and received it by July, 9. But I am still waiting for the Biometrics notice... I was a little worried because of the time, but reading your post, I hope it will be ok then :)

Yes, the form automatically fills in the information based on the spouse details that you've provided. You don't need to write the name, just leave it as it is but don't forget to sign where signature is required.

That's right! The form does not accept slash so I had to manually write N/A :( My form is not as pretty as I would have liked LOL

Thank you very much, PauPau. I thought my spouse needed to write his name, because mine appeared automatically. So, he just need to sign.

Just jumping in to say that I did write N/A and did not leave any blank spaces. I wrote None to the children part since we don't have any children. Here's what's in the instructions:

    3. Answer all questions fully and accurately. If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been married and the question asks “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A,” unless otherwise directed. If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, “How many children do you have” or “How many times have you departed the United States”), type or print “None,” unless otherwise directed.

Thank you, PauPau. I did that when possible because the format sometimes does not accept slash.

Well,  I didn't send my package yet, and  for now  I just left in blank  space not applicable. I did the same for AOS, besides - a sample here, on VJ, with blank boxes  as well.

At the same time PauPau is right, because this is what I-751 instruction says - to put N/A if not applicable..

So, honestly, this question still bothers me.   Would be really great to hear from others  their opinion and how they did go about that - blank or N/A in EACH 000 not applicable box...???

Yes, I put None and N/A, for example in part 5 (Family name of the child) I put None and N/A on physical address because some boxes do not accept slash. Part 9 about the interpreter I also put None because the format does not accept N/A... but I did not fill all boxes, just the first box on each part...??

Guys, about Part 8 (page 8) "Acknowledgement of Appointment..." the spouse need to write his/her name? Filling the form, my name appeared automatically. What did you do?

    Thank you very much!

Hey, guys... I was supposed to send my package today, but still waiting for my last bank statement - they said should be received today, so "the box" will be sent tomorrow.

Anyway, maybe this delay is for the better, because  I got "last moment" questions ;)

    1. "Other name used" - do i have to write only my maiden name as other name used" ?... I'm confused because the sample of I-751 shows and given name. Despite the fact it's the same  name, listed in box 1.b.

    2.  Part 7. Petitioner’s Statement, Contact Information, Acknowledgement of Appointment at USCIS Application Support Center, Certification, and Signature.  - I printed (wrote) my name in "Acknowledgment of Appointment" box, and then just signed with my regular signature in "Petitioner's Signature' box. My husband did the same in his Part 8. Spouse’s...  Is that correct?

    3. Passport pictures are no needed with -I-751 submission, right? And we don't include copies of passport pages, marriage certificate?...

    4. How did you, guys, attach the check? Just with a paper clip on the top of your Cover letter?..

Sorry if all of these have been answered before.. Any insights will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Hello, Ksenia. When filling your I-751, did you leave in blank all spaces not applicable? I mean, if you are not using a translator or preparer or there are no children, for instance... or did you write N/A?

    Thanks again!!

But if it's impossible for some reason, to get your Transcripts online,  you can order them in the mail anyway, and meanwhile -  send your package with what you have from your Tax Preparer.

And if USCIS is not satisfied , they just will ask you for Transcripts. But at least you won't be late with sending the package and you will already have your Transcripts.

Ahhh... Thanks again, Ksenia. I will try online, then if nothing happens, I will do that :)

  11. I am ready to send my package, at least. Between waiting for affidavit of support and letters from banks, I have lost a lot of time (my date expires on July 20).  But I do not have Tax transcripts from IRS, just the usual papers from the tax preparer, now I am scared if I wait for them, I could be sending my package too late :(

I sent one bank statement per quarter, plus the FIRST joint statement and the LAST joint statement prior to filing.  I also sent ALL pages of any statement I sent.  We had a ton of evidence, so that's why I only sent one statement per quarter.  They accepted it, and us!

Oh, and I didn't black out anything.

Aw excelent! When are you planning to send your papers? Mine from the letter they sent opened las 4/29/2017 but my green card experiation date is 08/03/2017 (90 days will be the May the 5th). I am waiting for some of our friends letter... i wont make then notarized though. Hopefully thats fine.

So I am thinking I will send everything this Friday May 5th or the Monday after, to California since I live in Wisconsin.

My period started on April, 20 and expires on July, 20. Do I still have time, right? I was ready to send my papers but I found this site, and thanks to your help, I realized I was sending almost nothing! Now I am fighting with a lot of photocopies and waiting for letters, too. Hopefully I will send them next week, also in California.

Thanks Lemon 23! So, the same applies for interpreter and preparer?
