Hi guys 

We are finally coming to the end of this looooong journey and I'm getting ready for the interview in Sydney in a few weeks time.

we have been told a few different things about the interview and are just wanting to know if my passport might get stamped on the spot or do I have to go back home to wait for a visa to come in the mail? 

Also, I'm about to go for my medical in 2 days and am generally fit and healthy. Is there any reason why people would fail a medical?

I'm wondering if someone can help me, I'm really confused about which form to fill in. We have just had our I-129F approved which was a huge celebration, however I now need to fill in a few more forms and getting told different things. 

Im from Australia and moving to the USA to marry my fiancé and live. 

He recieved an email asking me to register for a non immigrant visa. However as I'm on the website now trying to do that, it says that the non immigrant visas are only for temporary stays. 

Min reading further it says the non Immigrant visa application is for reviewing. 

Im really confused. Can someone tell me if I need to apply for a non immigrant visa even though I'm planning to stay? Do I fill this in first THEN do the D-160?

Ahhh ok this makes much more sense. Thankyou guys. I didn't understand at all. Yes it was  the I -129F that got approved, sorry I thought that was the actual visa but it looks like this next part is, Thankyou. 

Coukd i ask what feels like a really dumb question... I just read the start of this form and it asks you to select a location for where you will be applying for the visa. Does that mean I put Sydney since I'm applying from there with the interview or put USA to where I'll be going? Sorry, this feels so dumb.

Can someone please help us understand, we have just had our K1 fiance visa approved but now have to wait for the phone call for interview in Sydney etc. 

I'm in Australia and moving to USA to be with my guy. 

He has been sent an email to say it's  all in process however in the meantime they've told him to ask me to fill in another form called DS- 160?? It's called an online nonimigrant visa application. Does everyone have to do this? What does it mean?

Neither of us have petitioned for anyone before, we got that section confused. So we'll just leave it blank.

No that's fine, I appreciate your honesty. Thankyou, it's just that there are certain details that either clash, or we can't find specifically.  

I work 11 hour days so I do probably need to try and find time somehow to read through it more. It's been a bit full on my end. 

We we are both filling out the form because it asks for 'Your Beneficiary details' I have about 5 pages of info Coty needs, so I'm filling in my part here to send to him. 

However, since there is no need for the G 235 now and no need for a signature, he could do it all his end and just fill in my parts.

However... the instructions do say if I've used the extra form at the back to fill in more employment history and living history that I have to sign and date it. 

I guess im just trying to use this as a help in between.

I am stuck on the section 5a where it talks about waivers.

We  both ticked the first box where it says 'Multiple Filer' no previous restraining orders etc etc but then realised this is only for people that have filed for a K-1 before? Neither of us have filed for a k-1 before so do we just leave this whole section blank? 

Sorry, it feels like a dumb question. I just wanted to double check.

Thankyou! So the G 235a is DEFINITELY not needed anymore? We followed instructions here that told us we had to fill it in? 

What about a signature line? As there is no where for me to sign the I-129. 

Do I need the passport photos stamped or cited or signed by someone?

Just wondering if there is patient person that might be able to talk me through my Fiancé visa application. 

Im moving to America, but we are feeling confused with conflicted information regarding what we need to send in initially. I was hoping to send all the forms to him from Australia tomorrow. 

He's done his part of the i-129 and G form paperwork and so have I. 

But I am confused in what else I need to send him now. 

Is there anyone I could chat to here via text perhaps? 

Does anyone know if letters from family and friends need to besent now too? If so, can they be emailed or must they be signed and sent in mail?

We are brand new to this and just wondering... my guy is  in America and about to start the paperwork fir the K1. Do I need to physically post my part to him or can I fill it out and scan it and email it to him? I am in Australia. 

Also, there is some part of the forms I had heard that are no longer required to fill out? The G something? Sorry to be vague, if anyone knows that would be great, however we'll keep reading.

Hey guys 

Can anyone tell me if the Visa process is easier for someone coming to Australia than America or the other way around? 

We've been looking at me going to America for the last month but the visa path we'd probably have to take (Finace Visa) by the time it processes, would put an incredible strain on our relationship. I'm  feeling really overwhelmed and know we need help but can't afford to pay for a lawyer. So I'm trying to figure out if him coming here would be easier. 

If not, can someone possibly recommend a  professional consultation we could have with someone that wouldn't cost us anything? Or someone that REALLY knows their stuff.

 I've been told there are people you can get general advice from to guide us but I don't know where to find them.

Hi guys I'm new on here and beginning the process of looking at Visa's and feeling overwhelmed. My boyfriend lives in Georgia and I'm moving over end of August. He's proposing to me when I get over there and plan to marry there as well. Can someone help me understand our best visa option? 

Ive also entered the Greencard Lottery so I'm praying for that.
