Congratulations !!!
My wife also was interviewed on May 17. She had some paperwork that she needed to turn in and got it finish on May 22. We are still waiting approval even today June 13....It is really frustrating!!!!

I am wondering if there is anyone who is, or who HAS, gone through the same situation I am in. I married my wife in the Philippines in August 2006. We had a baby girl born there in the Philippines on April 18, 2007. On May 3, 2007 I filed CRBA paperwork at the US Embassy. I had to leave on May 4th so, I gave written permission to my wife, via affidavit, to turn in the remainder of the paperwork and passport photos for our daughter the next day, May 4th. She completed that. My wife had her K3 Visa Interview on May 17, 2007. Received her pink slip and paid Delbros. To this day, I cannot get a status on the Delbros website nor has the Embassy attempted to make contact with either of us. It is now June3, 2007. I will call the US Embassy later today however, I was wondering if anyone out there experienced the same situation as we are in, how long the process took and what the outcome was. Thank you for any information. I am sooooooo tired and frustrated from waiting!!!

Never mind....I found it, thanks!!!!

I know there is a number to call at the US Embassy in Manila to check the status on K# Visa's AFTER the inteview. The number ends in 7878.....Can someone give me the number or point me to a place where I can find it?

$380 is for CR-1 visas not K-3 visas. K-3 visas are non-immigrant and the fee is $100. Perhaps the CR-1 case made it to the embassy and they then discarded the K-3 and are planing on interviewing for the CR-1.There will be a $100 fee paid to the embassy in Manila, then medical fee, then back in the states AOS and Biometric fee, (Currently $325+$70) that may increase soon, then there is EAD fee if she wishes to work.Just look up forms I-485, I-765 on USCIS site for the fees.
Why then, is the embassy telling my wife she needs to pay $380US before her interview?
The CR-1 will also generate a green card on entry to the USA and eliminate the need to adjust status, and apply for EAD.
This may be a good thing.
Have wife contact embassy to clarify which visa is being interview for, CR-1 or K-3.
I will contact the Embassy....thank you

Can someone direct me to a thread or guide to show all the fees one needs to pay for a K3 Visa after approval from USCIS? Any additional fees...

You will know your case has been touched when the date changes on your case file, that is, if you have a case file on the USCIS website. It will not mention a 'touch'. If the date reflected is later than the last one posted....simply, it has been touched.
Pardon the silly question, but where does it say the application has been touched? I've had an NOA1 for the I130 for a month now +the NOA1 fo the K3 in hand for a week and haven't seen anything. Where should I be looking? thanks -
I provided absolutely no information to the consulate about bank accounts, My affidavit of support only had tax returns, letter from employer, and pay stubs. If your income is more than the poverty line then bank account data is not needed.
THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!!

Will the US Embassy in Manila frown or deny a visa for my wife if I do NOT have a bank account? I mostly just deal with my debts with cash or money orders......Anyone run into the same type of situation?
-
How can I find out if my case has arrived in Manila? Phone call only, or????
-
Sure, your welcome....
Aaah ok thanks -
It depends on which form the Embassy in your Beneficiaries country requires. Contact the US ebmassy in that country and they will be able to tell you.
My wife is from the Philippines and the Embassy there requires the I-134 for the I-129f.
I'm getting a bit ahead of myself here but would like to know the info for when the time comes... After the I129F has been approved it says to begin assembling the I134/I864 affidavit of support. So errrm, which one do we complete? Or is it both? I read the guides on K-3 guide and it says I134/I864... does that mean both or just one??Thanks in advance
-
Not so in my case....I filed both.....look at MY timelines...
-
WOW!!!!!! I just received approval notices for both I-129f AND I-130!!!!!!! Thank you soooooo much everybody!!!!!! For all of the information and support throughout this journey!!!!Especially you Rob!!! Maybe we will have the same interview date.....wouldn't that be great!!!!!!!
Take care and good luck everybody!!!!!

Ya....Hence the reason I am confused .....It's not making and sense to me. I called UCSIS a couple of days ago and, of course, she couldn't tell me any more than what I already knew from the emails/updates...I hope my petitions didn't get lost in the shuffle and they're just now discovering that. If that is the case I hope they plan to expedite them.
I received both of these updates today on the USCIS web page....First the I-130, then a couple of hours later the I-129f....Has anyone received these notices and if so, tell me what they mean and how long you've had to wait after receiving these to be approved....Thanks!!Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)
Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.
The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that was transferred to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location is now pending there. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. **AND**
Application Type: I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

I received BOTH of these updates on the USCIC web page today.....Is there a difference between 'Processing' and 'Pending'???
Strange dude....I got thos e-mails just after I got a notice that the MSC transfered my stuff to the CSC. Seems like you should be getting an NO2, not transfer notices.
I think probably there is something wrong with the database software, and you are probably getting processed and will get apprvals/denials soon. Just a guess of course, but there appears to be other people getting strange update notices.
Maybe call the good folks at USCIS to ensure everything is ok.

Is there a website one can go to to see who's I-129f's and I-130's have been approved. I noticed someone said CSC was starting to kick out some approvals. How do they know this? I'd like to see who is getting approved and compare beneficiary countries. Or atleast be able to see how many are pending and how many have been approved and so on.
Here are a few threads that VJ'rs have been updating in regards to their status (I-129f / I-130).

My wife had her interview on May 17, 2007. She needed to submit additional paperwork and had it all turned in on May 22, 2007. Delbros website is NOT working and I have contacted the the embassy twice in 2 weeks and they just tell me to wait 6 weeks and if she doesn't get her visa by then to call back again. HMMMM???? I see others receiving their visas who has interview before her and on same day!!!! It's just frustrating. I miss them so much and I am dying without them, my wife an our daughter. GRRRR!!!!!!!
