I'm so sorry to hear about this, I know it's a nightmare. It's been over a year for us, and I feel they'll do the same with us too.

The best you can do is wait for the case to be returned to the USCIS, then ask about the reason for why it was revoked.

Eventually, the USCIS will have to send you a letter to which you'll have to appeal.

Not sure if FOIA will be required for you but it doesn't hurt to do one once USCIS mails you a letter of intent to revoke (this is if they didn't reaffirm the case).

For the time being, You and Ahmed should prepare. and consider, moving to Egypt permanently.

Search the forum for similar cases, you'll fine a dozen at least.

Thank you. We have talked about other options about me moving to Egypt with him while we were going through this whole process. It saddens me because I have not seen my husband for a year because I have been working and I have a young daughter that is in school and I couldn't go back and forth or last year or else I would lose my job and jobs are very hard to find in the town I live in and losing my home and taking my daughter out of school was to much. I can't wait to get my ticket to go to Egypt and be with my husband There will not be anymore long distance phone calls, no more video chats, my husband and I will be face to face now . I miss him sooo much. This whole year of this visa process has been a NIGHTMARE for both of us. I am ready to leave the US behind and go to a whole new world in Egypt with my husband and be happy.

I'm very sorry to hear that, I really feel your pain and your struggle, more than you can imagine. It hurts the most when you feel vulnerable, especially if your loved one is away and cannot be with you, yet, to help you ease your pain.

All I can tell you is that the effort you put in to be patient now, will pay off later.

    Stay strong and get well.

Thank you so much for caring, it means alot to me.

I don't know how long have you two been married and living together. But anything on CR1 that is less than a year of living under the same roof is a kind of a red flag. Age gap is another red flag. The more red flags, the more scrutiny to expect.

I have been in AP for over 12 months now and it's a K-1. So, all I can say be very very very patient, or you'll feel worse and worse in time.

On a lighter note, can you ask your friend about when did his friends apply for the petition? or when were they approved by USCIS? or when did they have their interview? what kinds of cases? etc. This can make a difference, but I'll tell you how after you answer those questions.

I know his friend just had his interview last month in November was put on AP for a few weeks then just got approved a couple days ago.

  5. Administrative Processing is such a nightmare. My husband has been on AP for 5 months now. I had got the Senator to contact the Embassy and nothing, they just send him the same email they send me.I have called NVC also to get info and the person I talked to said that the notes said that someone (me) got a hold of a senator but no other notes. I just feel like packing my stuff and moving to Egypt . I miss my husband so much and I don't want another year to go by without him. I talked to a friend here in the US that got approved in May and got his visa and he told me that alot of his friends have got a visa just this year from Egypt and they are here in the US..And it seems like the same consular that interviewed him and his friends all got approved to get visas and they are all here in the US... I find that very odd and very disappointing.

I actually know a couple that had visits from immigration officers here in United states, They come out of  nowhere and talk to you, look if you have any pictures on walls together. Basically if you are really living together. Hopefully you guys hear something soon and good out of that.

If they come to my house right now or in the future. I would gladly welcome them with a big smile. I have pictures of me and my husband every where in my home . We have nothing to hide from them, we just want to live a peaceful, loving life together. Yes hopefully we will hear something very soon. I can't wait, I want that exciting moment to hear he is approved. It means so much to me. Thank you for replying.😊

Yes, I have read others posting about home visits.  It means they were suspicious about a bonafide relationship and wanted to verify that your husband was truly divorced from his ex-wife and not still living together.  As long as everything checked out  good, it should result in an approval.  AP can take weeks, months, even years sometimes.  If you have a way (email or phone) to contact the embassy and inquire you can do so.  But in the end you just have to wait, try to be patient, and let them finish their processing.

Hi, Thank you for replying. I have emailed the Embassy twice already. I get the same email that case is going through administrative processing and every time I send an email the date changes on the website so nothing changes but a date only. I just thought, by them going to my husband's home and they found that my husband was telling the truth it would speed up the process of his visa and he would get approved. But I guess it wasn't the case. We still have to wait.

  8. Hi everyone this is just all confusing. Our story on July 6,2017 my husband had his interview in Cairo, Egypt the interview went okay but they didn't keep my husband's passport. On August 22,2017 two men from the Embassy went to my husband's home and asked him the same questions that were asked at the first interview. My husband was married before. They first went to his ex wife's home and they talked to her brother. Well when they got to my husband's home they asked him questions they were recording him. They told my husband that they talked to his ex wife's brother but told my husband with a smile that they were not going to tell him what he said.Well after they talked to my husband one of the men said that the case is going as it should and said that the Embassy would call him in 2 weeks it's been 4 weeks now and no phone call. Our last update on the website to check status was on August 30th and it still says Administrative Processing. Has anyone ever been through this. Please share your story thoughts of what this all means. I thought this was all good news but still waiting for any answers from Embassy to see if my husband gets his visa.

I tried to change that on my timeline but it wouldn't let me. No my husband hasn't been approved yet. The Embassy was closed for 4 days for the holiday. So I am sure that we will hear from them this week or next. To get the attention of the Embassy I emailed them an inquiry and I sent them a picture of my home and me holding a picture of me with my husband and the consular sent me an email back saying my husband is on AP but that they are working on the case. 2 weeks ago August 22, 2017 2 men went to my husband 's house and told him that the Embassy will contact him in 2 weeks so this is the second week. After they went to my husbands house the date has changed twice last week on the website. God willing, we should be hearing good news in the coming days.😊

The 8/22 we took it as a second interview because they asked my husband the same questions as they did when he went to his first interview and they taped recorded my husband. So when I put it into VJ it changed as second interview. I will let everyone know on here. When we hear from the Embassy again.😊

  11. It doesn't matter what it says now. The consular went to my husband's house this morning and they asked him the same questions as they did in the interview. My husband told them the truth like he did in the interview.Everything went well and they told him they would contact him in a few days. I am so hopeful that they are going to tell my husband to send in his passport. Believe and trust in God and have so much faith in him and he will do so many miracles in your life. God is awesome.!!!! I am sooo happy.

My husband and I went on the interview June 12. The console though us a month also but in the Dominican Republic is a CR1 case. On August 10 the console  show up at his house asking him some  of the questions ask at the day of the interview. They when around the neighborhood asking people if they knew us. The console though him they will notify him by email about there decision. So they when  2 days before the 2 month. I know it frustrating when they tell you a month and it actually takes more then a month. Like you said don't loose hope. I'm older then my husband by 10 years but who cares. As long as there love that, that's all that matters.

This morning August 22,2017. The consular went to my husband house in Egypt the same thing happened to him. They asked him the same questions like they did in the interview. I will never lose hope and I know my husband will be here with me soon. Good luck to you else well.😊😊
