and so ... we need to see that you and your fiance have met in person ... please send passport stamps or airline tickets blah blah blah ... unbelievable :jest: I sent pictures, airline itineraries, credit Card receipts, hotel bookings ... but didn't even think to send passport stamps gee whiz man;  But folks ... I have a serious issue here ... I can provide this information .. no problem, but after getting the RFE notice I went back through my petition and I made a mistake concerning some arrests I had like 15 + years ago, do you all think I should take this opportunity to send in the required documentation for these arrests or at this point all background is done and I should be safe here ... I think I'll post a topic for this in the main view  but I welcome your thoughts here as well.

Well at least it's simple. I sent mine, but but didn't include the identification page of my passport so they wanted a copy of that. The letter also suggested that written signed statements of meeting were valid evidence. So I sent that as well in my reply. My fiancee happened to be visiting so I could her her passport stamps and a Statement as well. Hopefully they get to yours quickly.

  2. So we got our RFE letter Friday, 5 days from notice date. They sent it because I included my passport reentry stamps and did not include the identification page of my passport. I thought it was funny because there is no way to associate the two anyway, but an easy fix. So I sent them my ID page and stamps again, including my more recent ones. She happened to be visiting this week so I sent hers as well and written statements from both of us stating we have met in person and describing all of our visits. The statements were suggested as additional proof in the RFE. I also sent some other documentation from a cruise we took together.

So tl:dr; our RFE was simple, but odd. I overnighted it back to them so they will have it Tuesday. Hopefully they get to it quickly!

Sorry to tell you, but you'll have to wait for the letter to arrive to know what they are asking for. Hopefully it will be there by the end of the week. Good luck!

Unfortunately there's no way to find out anything until you receive the snail mail.

They won't tell you specifics, they say there's no way for them to know at the CSR level

Thanks Everyone. I was going to ask for a tier 2 per usual, but I will be patient. It's all I have been able to do thus far. On the plus side then I don't have to speak to any more slow monotone Customer service people or immigration officers.
