I was wondering if there is still anyone actively on here whose case is PD date June 6th and prior that hasn't gotten either an RFE or NOA2? We're on day 251 now, PD date June 1st and have not received anything. We have called USCIS multiple times but when we ask for a Tier2 officer they always tell us either there's none available or that we shouldn't worry, our case would be within processing times...

beats me why they are very disorganized ,but my case was approved on the 20th day of December 2017 and I had to wait the full six weeks for my case to ve sent to nvc

It is bad. And if you call there they say that they are on February cases. Really?! Hahaha. Since October 31st they are reviewing February cases. I feel bad for the people that don't know about the VJ. I was one of them and It is terrifying see no change in the time expectations.

I just wanted to inform everyone I got the approval today, my wife left me (not a legal divorce but left me) back in August, I love her deeply and have informed her of the approval but she has not replied at all and she has read my message. I have stayed here in the hopes that our dates can be used to help others - I will update my timeline now although I don't believe my wife will be doing the interview or medical exam. It pains me beyond words that we have worked so hard for this and we will never enjoy this beautiful opportunity to live together that we waited so long for.

Date on approval letter: January 18th, 2018
Physical approval letter received in the mail: January 22nd, 2018

No RFE's, also no case status online on USCIS website or any USCIS phone apps. I had actually called USCIS about a week ago and a tier 2 officer told me 105 days as an estimate and here less than a week later I have the approval by mail.

To all of those of you waiting, love conquers all. Please hold on to each other, please be patient with each other. Instead of thinking ah there is so long to go, think of what a beautiful thing it is to have someone who loves you so much that neither time nor distance could ever come between you two. Your time will come, I wish you all nothing but infinite happiness on the day of your reunions.

I was starting to loose my mind seeing all the approvals around and after our PD and coming home everyday from work to an empty mail box. Reading this forum also really help me keep hope and a level head. Thank you all. And for all who are still waiting, hang in there!

He is not wrong tho. You said your PD date is in August. There's been roughly 3-5cases from July approved from people that are on here which is only a fracture of the people that actually apply. From these cases there's 2 that have said that they had their process expedite which you actually have to have really good reasons for. And you miss your partner is not gonna work. Everyone that has a bonafide marriage misses their partner. I don't like seeing people giving others the illusion that there is a reason to go crazy and call every other day while they are still within normal processing time. There still is a lot of people from may and June that haven't gotten approvals either including myself and a lot of others you can see commenting on here. Then there is the whole July section that should be coming before you as well and hands down I don't think any of us deserve it more than others. We're all in the same boat and we all usually roughly have to wait the same time.

If this information helps you... my PD was June 22, I tried to send an inquiry and I received the response "inquiry may not be created this time" bla bla bla ... I called until I was able to talk with a helpful tier  2 And I told him, I 130 cases around my case have been approved, the case before and after mine have been updated since December 13 , (so they should have been approved since November 13 at least) so of course I think my petition is not in normal processing time so I asked him if he was able to send an inquiry for me, and he told me he was  able to unblock the system to allow me to send to inquiry because he saw all of the cases around mine were already approved , so he told me: try to do the service request now, and that time I could send the inquiry with no problem, so I think if you PD is after February 22, you only can make the inquiry if you call first because of the system, or if you filled the immigration congressional inquiry form of your congressman or representstives , they are allow to send an inquiry no matter the PD you have.
I sent the inquiry on January 2nd I got A response on January 6th that said my case was under additional review, that I should hear a decision in 60 days, but I called to ask what kind of addiontal review,  when I called tier 2 they told me my case was under review since November  2017, and we were approved  in January 10th but we got the letter yesterday, and the system is not updated yet. My advice is if you want to inquiry, look for help of your representatives in the webpages you can find the steps and the form for making the immigration inquiry .

I don´t think you got my point or you did not read the whole thread. I have never said in any word that she is overreacting. I said it is not right from others to encourage her to drive herself even more crazy and encourage her to call every week even tho she is still within processing time....their answer will remain the same anyways. The Tier2 officer also only tells you something different if they in fact have started working on your case. You can´t determine the normal processing based on an expedite process that had been approved since hers is not expedite. I got a friend over here that applied for his wife in July and already has her Greencard and moved (her process was expedite). It´s simply like comparing apples with pears.... I am also not trying to discourage people as you can easily figure out by reading through the thread. I, as said before, just do not like if people start coming up with things that awaken an illusion to others of their process possibly being faster based on a case that is not comparable cause in 99% of the case this will only lead to a bigger disappointment towards the end....what on the other hand I agree is helpful (as you said) is, if people update their timelines and actually post to the threads if they get news hope this was more understandable

Same. PD June 1st 229days and thinking that after that it´s gonna take at least another 4months or so is starting to make me feel like we will never get to live together. We are already joking, that maybe it will be our Christmas present 2018
