My wife is still in the PI for another week. Will return Saturday. She is have so much fun and getting to "bond" with her family again. Special guest is there too in that her brother, who she hasn't seen in 19 years, flew in from UAE for a week. So that's really special for her.
No you don't have to adjust but what happens is she is now "out of status" and could have a run in with ICE if the want to make a bid deal of this. If you file then it's not a big deal. That couple who went out and smoked weed are stupid. Why would do something to have reflect on one of the most important times in your life. If they admit they will face a year suspension and have to attend classes (I don't know all the details on that step) and if they successfully complete it then they can reapply. If they don't fess up then they could face a 10 year band.
