Status Updates posted by Ryanmaria2018

  1. Hey my good friend how are you and how's the family? Are they back yet from the Phil yet? Well anyway hope all is good and ready for some football and a fiancee to come over here in about 3 weeks!! Best time of the year for me my friend. Hey just had a couple of quick questions on the adjustment of status. We are planning a October wedding here in Vegas so just wanted to know do you have to do the adjustment of status right away? I'm thinking of early next year in February when I can reload on my finances here and you know the deal with the holidays approaching time to be broke again!! Not to mention an addition to the family Maria. The other thing is when can Maria file for a EAD work permit? Yeah I know more forms and fees$$$$$ as usual. I think after we get married will be the best time for that and her ss card. By the way what's up with that marijuana post? Was that guy on pot or was it a medical mariajuana ? A lot of medical marijuana dispensaries here in Vegas. Okay well just checking in with a few questions and to say hello so have an outstanding day and as always take care of the family my friend!!

My wife is still in the PI for another week. Will return Saturday. She is have so much fun and getting to "bond" with her family again. Special guest is there too in that her brother, who she hasn't seen in 19 years, flew in from UAE for a week. So that's really special for her.

No you don't have to adjust but what happens is she is now "out of status" and could have a run in with ICE if the want to make a bid deal of this. If you file then it's not a big deal. You have to adjust the status to take advantage of the other two process. One is free if you do it with the I-495. Follow my website for details.

That couple who went out and smoked weed are stupid. Why would do something to have reflect on one of the most important times in your life. If they admit they will face a year suspension and have to attend classes (I don't know all the details on that step) and if they successfully complete it then they can reapply. If they don't fess up then they could face a 10 year band.

Have your self a great time. Hope all is well with you and the miss's.

Eveything is great. My wife and step son are in the Philippines for 3 weeks and I am home holding down the fort. You guys are going to be wings up soon. I wish you all the best. TC

  3. hey Greenbaum just sent you a message earlier and finally got our case our of NVC and in transit so we are getting there!!

  4. Hey Greenbaum hope you had a great 4th of July yesterday. Nice to see you are helping still so  many people like myself.  You deserve the good guy award here on visajourney!! Anyway finally got the DS160 application finished AND reviewed. Was told by by guy helping us the other day that he couldn't schedule an appointment for my fiancee's interview. The only explanation I can think of is because he tried to schedule it on July 4th in the Philippines so not sure if that was due to the US embassy there being closed or not so I'm thinking it can't be all that hard to schedule an interview so hope today it will get done. Anyway take care my friend!!!

  5. Hey there my friend, quick question, on the DS160 visa application does my fiancee have to up load her photo or is it done before her interview? Kinda confusing because I'm seeing that it's no longer required and she can get it done at  the Application Service center. So not sure which is . Anyway thanks!!!

YW. I wish I was more up on the DS-160 but when we processed, the DS-160 was a week old and only 2 pages. Now look what it has become. Good luck.

wow!! you must be old timers there!!! Well I can help her but she needs to finish the application by hitting the finish button or else it's not valid because it has to be completed in the country where the visa is being processed. You know the Philippines is not the hardest place to get a visa BUT the process and endless documents are really something else. Will be glad to get her here as we have been together nearly 3 years online and as you can imagine we are really ready to end this online relationship for good:wacko:. So where exactly are you in the Phil? My fiancee is from Negros Oriental just south of Dumaguete in a dive resort town called Dauin. Went there last year to spend a month with her. I've been through this already in 1999 and had a ex wife from the Philippines so as you can imagine there are some complications to getting married there and that's why I have to bring her here on a fiancee visa . Anyway nice to have a friend here in visajourney so talk to you again sometime!!!

It does sound like you are busy and taking the conservative approach this time around. My wife is from Ozamiz City. We are going back there to visit in Aug. for 3 weeks. I'm looking forward to it. I love the Philippines and all that it offers.
