Hi @JBMG! 

Last 4 hrs ago (1pm my time) just got an email from nvc, they just needed one document and stated there that I will just bring it on the interview. So probably I will call the nvc later for the interview date, do you think it is early to ask? And will update the spreadsheet after my work.

Oh, thats the thing, when my NOA2 got approved thats the only time, I googled and researched everything, that is why we submitted or mailed everything last May and it will take 11 weeks for the review. You have to prepare your civil documents (beneficiary) and for the petitioner, prepare all the financial evidences.

Hi there! Im also a military spouse and my case is now at nvc, waiting for any results or appointment letter. When my husband filed i130 at USCIS, he included a request letter for expedited application, do you think we should call them and tell the nvc, that my husband is going to be deployed in a few months? Lastly, the NOA2 looks a lot like the NOA1, it's just printed on nicer paper. It basically says your case was approved.  You want to hold onto it, but its not really asked for/needed later on in the process. Your next step is assembling your financial documents for AOS and your supporting documents for the IV application. You should be prepared to call the NVC in about 1 week -- to see if they have received your case yet. Sometimes service centers are a little slow forwarding on cases, so don't be surprised if they say they haven't gotten it yet. Once they (NVC) have your case, they take up to 2 weeks to assign you a new NVC case number. For the rest of the steps, please read the guides. 

 

**Also** NVC call center is a bit of a mess.... sometimes you will have to call 10-15 times in one day to get through. You will then likely be on hold for 20 minutes or more. Just know that if you can't get through, to keep trying in 5-10 minutes.
