  1. If i submit an application for expedite the case for my parent's illness. Is this a bad idea? i'm the petitioner. They are the applicants. My father has diabetic, high pressureheart diseases and 80% first degree heart block. Now a days he has hearing problem. He can 15% on side and other side 49%. My mother had two operations in last 8 years. One was uterus operation another one was gallbladder. She has breathing problem too. She takes inhaler spray. Sometimes she has to use nebulizer. I do have all test results, prescription and doctor's notes. So, what should i do? should i include all diseases or that will effect visa medical? please advice. They got checklist. so i'm trying to speed up the process. Additional 11 weeks? it hurts. Thanks

Yes unfortunately.. So sorry.. But my advice, send in the correct version ASAP.. Then call to verify if arrived.. Then after about 4 weeks, call again to ask to speak to a supervisor.. to see if they can get you a CC..

Please update your questionnaire with this info... This way hopefully your unfortunate situation will help others from your country who are or will be preparing their package for the NVC..

Here are instructions on how to edit/save the questionnaire

Meanwhile, I found the following forum which could be useful for you..

Thanks for your reply. Ok i will update. One more thing.. For mother application she doesn't need Marriage certificate. i don't know why they asked for this. Because as a son, when i applied for my mom, birth certificate was required. Not Marriage certificate. but For my dad, marriage certificate was required. what you think, if i talk to a supervisor, could they help me about my mom's case now?

If you have one, you should receive the checklist within a few days. It will let you know if you need to send the correct version to the NVC or bring it to the interview.. Keep checking your online status.. Sometimes the NVC customer service reps can be misleading..

Got the email from NVC ..

The instructions will ask you to either:

     Send the missing or corrected items to the applicant so he or she can take them to the visa interview;

    or

 Send the missing or corrected items to the National Visa Center (NVC) and include a copy of the

    Case Number Barcode Cover Sheet.

    ______CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS:_________________________________

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this

letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar

code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the

    address provided.

    ______5 - MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE:____________________________________

We cannot accept the marriage certificate document you sent. You must send us the correct document

so we can continue to process your case.

That means i have to send documents to NVC, Right? :( two additional months .. :(:(

In here I found that the bar-coded cover sheet for AOS and Bar-coded cover sheet from payment portal for IV Package said by visajourney so I'm confused about Bar-Coded cover sheet whereas I got only one Bar-Coded cover Sheet by email 😒

There will be two cover sheets with bar codes. One would be cover sheet with checklist what will be your 2nd sheet, and you will get though email from NVC. And another would be Document cover sheet without checklist what would be your front page, You can get this cover sheet (Front page)from AOS section of NVC portal(https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/).

Oh I've been calling 3-4 times a week and they say they haven't received it.  Ithe has been 6 weeks of calling talking to supervisor and USCIS and we still get they haven't received it and that I should give it 2 more weeks.  Uscis says it's been mailed but no one will give me a date.. they said you still have 2 weeks before we can open a case.  One lady did say she would do a report and it shows on my page. But it says not assigned so no one is looking for our file

I don't think they would send it straight to Jamaica but I front loaded everything when I applied for my i130 including tax papers proof of employment and the I 864 so all we should have to do is pay fees and the Visa application.

That's unfortunate. Yea, you can wait for couple for weeks for opening a case. But still try to reach someone nice from uscis ( Tier 2). May be you will get some important information. There is a user name JessieABC from UK in this forum. Check his post. He attached a pdf file with his signature about uscis and nvc. That might help you in someway.

You should call NVC to verify that they received or not. If you just wait for regular processing, it will take more time. My case was approved on 3/31. Got letter from uscis on 4/7. Uscis sent my case to nvc on 4/11. NVC received on 4/17. But i have called almost every single day.

    you can follow following steps

    1. Call NVC to verify, they already received your case or not . If not call uscis.

    But if yes..

( if you don't call usually it will take long time to send you a welcome letter or other documents)

    2. Ask for Case number and Invoice ID

3 if you get both information try to login on NVC login part to complete DS 261. Give them your email address as contact if you don't choose agent or attorney.

    4. After completing DS 261, call NVCafter one day to review your agent form. When you do that they will send you all your papers to your email..

  7. I'm self-Employed. I have done my 2016 Tax return. But problem is, i had to change my business deductable using Amended Tax File. I have already sent to IRS. But it will take long time. At least 2 more months to adjust. My income on 2016 Tax return already fullfill the AOS requirements. And on my amended return file my income will be more. I'm about to ready to send IV packages. My question is, should i wait for getting adjusted my Amended tax return? Or i should send 2016 tax return what already approved and 2016 Amended tax return what is waiting for approval(Both). Do i have to submit any recent past income statements? Or it's just optional. Please need advice.
