Thanks. Already booked etihad airways. Paid approx $800. Benefit with etihad is I’ll clear immigration at Abu Dhabi airport and at JFK I win’t have to face and answer immigration again. Good luck with your POE.

Got passport with visa today. Received from them and collected from office in Lahore paid Rs. 850 Allhumdulila

After log in, on the left side, click on update profile.  There you can enter all the required information.  Even though it asks for delivery address, they will not mail it to you.  

Look for the nearest authorized center near your location.  Call UAN number to verify and confirm your pickup location.

I suggest you do the same and call the UAN number to confirm.  Best of luck!

No phone call yet tomorrow is last working day in Pakistan. I tried to track passport with its number but nothing comes up except invalid passport number. Can you please share the link to signup on that website. As normally they just call, didn’t knew about this. Please

8/25/2017 - Visa Printed; CEAC Issued.

8/29/2017 - Received e-mail to pick up passport in Islamabad.  CEAC no changes, except date of last update. 

8/30/2017 - Passport and visa packet picked up.  Immigrant Fee Paid.

9/7/2017 - POE.

 

Visa journey finally at an end.  And start of new life together with my wife.

I am guessing they return u the marraige and birth cert at the end of the interview. So they only kept your interview letter, medical report and passport from you correct? Just wanna know what all documents they kept with them.

Just make a copy of i864 which you submitted to NVC but on that photocoy signature should be real no copied or what you can do is ask sponser to sign the papers with blue pen and sens you in pdf files and you take colour prints out hope i answered question if not please let me know

No they didn’t asked for any documents except registered marriage certificate and my birth certificate but i was holding all the documents.

VJ members visa approved today interview was in Islamabad US embassy overall experiance was good waiting time was too long and inter was just 5 minutes long thats it

Thursday August 24, 2017 Pakistan Time

 

7 AM:  Arrived at Visa Seeker Shuttle Service.  University Road and 3rd Ave.  Bought Executive Class shuttle ticket.  

7:30 AM:  Going to embassy, they didn't have enough cars available.  So ended up riding in the air conditioned Coaster Bus.  10 minute drive.  

8:00 AM:  Arrived at US Embassy.  Went through security.  

 

Inside the Embassy...

1. Immigrant vs. non-immigrant applicants separated.  
2. Directed to at window #11.  Interview letter stamped with token number.  Passport checked.  Took 2 passport photos.  Digital finger prints. Told to sit and wait. 
3. At second window, original birth certificate, marriage certificate, and passport collected.  Including photocopies of these documents. Told to sit and wait. 
4. At third window, interviewed by CO.  Asked what husband does for living?  Where does he work?  Whats your education background?  Where did you complete your studies?  Where did your husband complete his education?  Do you have wedding pictures?  Congratulations!  Your visa is approved.  You will receive call to pick up passport in two weeks.  

10:00 AM:  Took executive shuttle back to station.

 

My wife also reports, Islamabad embassy was hammering other applicants on relationship questions.  Make sure your spouses know about your employment.  

 

CEAC website already says "ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING."  Gives generic information.  AP can take several weeks...If your visa application is approved, it will be mailed within two business days.  

Hopefully, visa is issued by end of day today.  And will receive call for pickup.

can someone please guide if I can take colour printed copy of i864 to embassy on interview. Used co sponser and unfortunately co sponser is out of US right now he can sign a copy and scan that and send that electronically via emailz. If thats acceptable. Please advice
