My wife had her interview this morning in Frankfurt and was approved. CEAC process is truly a blessing. Everything was electronic, they didn't ask to verify anything except for her passport. Port of entry will be the same, she only received a CD from her medical exam to hand to the border patrol officers.

Hi all, trying to get everything in order as our interview date is less than a month away.
We applied for CR-1 visa, the interview will be in Frankfurt Germany. The fee page sent to us is a bit confusing so I want to check with someone who knows. We paid all the fees we needed at the NVC stage (IV and AOS fee) and have the receipts. Is there anything taht would need to be purchased AT the interview?
Thanks

Hello,
I am curious on which documents my wife needs to bring to the interview. I have my tax transcripts directly from the IRS website, I-864EZ, but never submitted my W-2 so far in the process. I am wondering if I need this for the interview.
Thanks

Holy **** case complete.. waiting for Embassy to schedule an interview. Apparently I forgot to scan the last page of my I-864EZ... re-uploaded it this morning and received case complete a few hours later. Unbelievable how fast this was.

Congrats and on to the next step! Ours was approved super quick so hopefully you hear back soon.
Thank you very much. I haven't seen much from Frankfurt embassy on this board but I also hope processing is fast.

Submitted AOS/IV documents along with civil documents on Friday. Now time to play the waiting game again.

Regarding AOS and IV fees, I paid on July 26 and the money was taken out of my account the following day or so, I still show "in processing." I called the NVC today and the person on the phone said to take a screenshot of the bank statement showing the payment and e-mail asknvc with the right case info. Hopefully it gets updated quicker.

Hi all,
We were selected for CEAC processing (I found this strange because Kiev is not listed for CEAC), but now that my case number has been assigned, it turns out our selected interview location is Frankfurt, Germany NOT Kiev, Ukraine (which now makes sense).
My wife has a resident permit for Germany as a student which expires October 31st and is currently still in school, although she is a citizen of Ukraine. An NVC operator said this is fine that she interviews in Germany as long as she is a legal resident, however I am a touch apprehensive, not only because he didn't sound sure of himself, but I too am not convinced.
Does anyone have any advice or experience interviewing in a country other than their home?

Maybe this answers my question? I just am apprehensive of the fact that she is a citizen of Ukraine interviewing in a different country, and if this does have any effects on the interview process.

Hello,
I'm looking for some help. My wife is currently in school right now in Germany. She is studying on a resident permit, but is a citizen of Ukraine. I filled out my I-130 perfectly, I'm guessing because her current address is located in Germany, they have set my interview site for Frankfurt, Germany. HOWEVER, her resident permit will expire at the end of October. Listed on the NVC page is:
Foreign States of Chargeability: Ukraine
Interview Location: Frankfurt
I am a bit shocked right now and not sure what to do. My NVC stage is all filed through CEAC, so I know this is quicker process. I just don't want to have an interview later than October and she can't go back and enter the country.

So this is a bit strange.. I called today to see if my case number had been assigned and the person on the phone said, "Oh, you have been selected for CEAC processing, unfortunately I cannot assist you, you need to hang up the phone and select #5 from the menu." I got through to an operator very fast and the person said "we have received your case, please allow 2 weeks for a number to be assigned."

Congrats on all progress made. I called back today to try for my case number. The operator said they are still in the process of creating and it should be available by end of next week. I will call Monday Wednesday and Friday.

Just spoke to NVC, my case was received on July 5th, so she recommended to call back on the 20th cause by then they should be able to have a casenumber assigned. I got someone on the phone in 30 minutes. I'm glad to have heard that my case is received.
I just got off the phone with the NVC. My case was received today in the mail, (Was sent on July 5th from Potomac). They DO NOT have it logged in the file system. The woman (who was very kind) said "it CAN take up to two weeks.. but try back Friday or whenever you want to check on your case number."
This may be a dumb question but when I call back, will I use a different option on the menu? (I've been pressing 3 for mail verification, I'm guessing I will select 2 next time?)

Case has been forwarded to Department of State on July 5th. Hoping they receive it next week.

Thank you everyone, best of luck to those still waiting.

I received my NOA-2 today in the mail. Notice date on my I-797 is 6/27/2017.

Congrats to all.
So everyone is still receiving snail mail first rather than electronically via text and/or e-mail, correct?

From another thread, these are the following centers who are eligible for CEAC processing:
Buenos Aires, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Montreal, Rio De Janeiro, Sydney.
It is relatively new, there are a number of consulates that also have e-mail processing.
Good luck
