Oh I didn't know that. When did they start requiring another semester for Med-Surg? And 2 years is too long! I can't imagine myself waiting for that long unless we transfer to a different state. I'm gonna be in Alaska.
You can always come back here and take a vacation! There's a lot of place to explore here with your family 😁

    Hi Anonymous Whiners!
I was reading on the Feb filers forum and someone said that he spoke to a USCIS customer service agent and told him that  NOA2 will only be mailed and will not be updated on the website even if we have an account

Who else here still use postal mail letters as a form of communication?
Last week I sent my fiancé a letter with a poem that I want to dedicate to him. He got it yesterday morning (my time) and he was so happy about it.
I don't know but there's something special and sweet about hand-written letters

We're also choosing the courthouse wedding because of the small amount of time that we are allowed to get married and as much as possible, we want to finish all the paperworks during that 90 days period   We'll just have a church wedding here in the Philippines in the future where my family and relatives can join as well.

As for the wedding celebration, we're still talking about if we would choose to have a small gathering 20 people (that will be very practical in terms of saving money, time and less stressful in preparing) or invite everyone from his side that will reach 50-60 people that there's so much to consider (renting a venue, setting up the venue, hiring a caterer or have some of his friends help with the cooking, expenses). For me, I don't mind having a small gathering or just the 2 of us celebrating after the wedding but because we have a strong family ties in our culture its not inevitable to get everyone invited. For the most part, we're thinking about his mom who is very emotional/sentimental when it comes to family celebrations and milestones esp. he's the first one to get married in their family that's why we cannot have a "no celebration" option.

    Hi Anonymous March Whiners!

I hope everyone is doing okay while waiting for NOA2!
So jealous to some of you who are going to see their F while waiting. I wish we could do the same but our situation is different because it would cost him more or less $1800 for the plane ticket and will just take 1 week off from work just to visit me. He has 4weeks leave for a year only. Our plan is to wait until I get approved and that's the time he'll go here and pick me up. And then use some of his vacation leaves for the marriage preparation/ceremony and go to visit his parents and siblings. So yeah.

Good luck to each and everyone of us, we're almost there!

Same here! Aside from people scrutinizing LDR's. I guess we're just both very private and nit-picky on what we post in social media. Since the beginning of our relationship, I could count the number of times we posted something about our relationship. Even our relationship status is set on private.

I agree with you @Andrew&Elizabeth about getting licensed in the US. I am a Registered Nurse here in the Philippines and I don't even know where to start. A lot of things goes through my mind (K1 visa, interview at the embassy, packing, taking IELTS exam, reviewing for licensure exam). It seems like everything is a priority!  My fiancé and I have 18 hours time difference, 5299 miles apart.

Cr1 you enter with ability to obtain work auth.  K1 is shorter in le gtg, but at least 90 days to obtain work  auth after you apply for aos
