My fiance said that her doc told her she could do a blood test to see what vaccines she has had before. Has anyone ever heard of this and would the embassy accept it?
In my case it was for one vaccination. My doc took a blood test and proved that I'm immune. He wrote a note stating this and I brought it to my medical. The physician at the medical accepted it without any questions.

Danke!!!

Hi,
I am helping my fiancée to fill the I-134 however she is a student and we are stucked at "Employment Information" section, does she have to write something ?
She is doing a Bachelor's Degree.
Thanks
Hi,
First of all 2 quick questions for clarification:
1. Do you mean Part 3: Other information about the sponsor. Question 1.a.?
2. Is your fiancée the sponsor or the beneficiary?
Since the sponsor is supposed to fill out the I-134, I guess your fiancée is the sponsor?! In that case, you should check if she can financially support you without her having a job. Perhaps you will need a co-sponsor.
In case she is the beneficiary, then that question is not about her employment but about the sponsors.

We are on the process of filing our I129f and we have few questions here, hope anyone could help us here. We want to fill out the information on the I129F Form as accurate as we can so we could avoid RFE. Thanks so much in advance.
1. In Part 1 about parent information, should we use my mom's maiden name that appears on my birth certificate or her present last name.
2. Still on part 1 and under Residence where it says, provide all the state or foreign countries you have resided since your 18th birthday. Should I still put all the state and countries that I've been through even though Im in Military that time.
3. This is under Part 2 for my beneficiary's information, under 11.a. in, in care of name field, should I put my fiancee dad's name or just leave it blank, since she lives at her dad's place.
4. Beneficiaries Address History, my fiance's mailing address is the same as her current physical address and she lives in a different address for the last five years. Question is, should I put her current address in 12.a item or her previous address for the last five years.
Any response to these questions is highly appreciated. We are really dying to get this done correctly. Thank you so much guys. And Good Luck to all of us here.
Hi...
you already ask this in another thread with another account?!
Copy and paste:
Helloo...
1. We just put my mothers present last name in it, since the maiden name is not her official last name anymore.
2. We mentioned every address...and also all his deployments (PO Boxes).
3. If her last name is the same as on the mailbox / same as her fathers, you don't have to state in care of her father. You just have to use it if there is another name or she is living in a facility or something and USPS will have troubles delivering the mail.
4. I would just name both...just in case.
Good luck on your journey!

For my fiancée's child, I need to fill out two separate DS-160 forms so that there will be two separate Application ID numbers? Is it alright to work on both at the same time or is it better to fill out the beneficiary's DS-160 first and then the child's?
Thanks
Hi...exactly. For each beneficiary one separate DS-160. I think it doesn't matter which one you do first, as long as you will have the confirmation page for each beneficiary in the end.

I am applying for K1 visa for my girl friend. However, it just came into my attention that her name as well as her father's name were spelled incorrectly in her Birth Certificate. This is a very common issue for Indian citizens. I am not sure why. Anyway, her other documents, such as her govt. ID proof, her passport, school certificates have her name spelled correctly. I am just curious whether she needs to correct her birth certificate before we proceed with the K1 visa process. Does anyone have idea or experience?
Hi...
Personally, I don't have experiences with that, but you really have to correct her birth certificate! I don't know how long the correction will take in India but from what I know, you will just need her birth certificate at the time of the interview. Therefore, this will give you approx. 3-4 months to let it be corrected while waiting for the NOA2.

On this form there is a section for living anywhere outside of your original country for more than six months.
How does this apply to the military? If my fiancé was deployed for more than six months at a different location do we need to put that down?
He was not residing there, he was just deployed there.
Anybody else in the military who has had this experience and what did you do?
Hi...
Is your fiance the petitioner or beneficiary?
My fiance is in the military and when they ask for "living in any country for more than six months" on the I-129, we filled everything including all deployments.

help guys! re the employment letter and bank statements - do they have a validity? how fresh do they need to be by the time you interview?
i am trying to figure out if its okay to request it now (my case just turned to ready) or wait until i get packet 3. i know it may be a while (a month or more) before my embassy sends me packet 3 and then another few weeks or so before i can interview. i know in some countries like here in the UAE (employment and bank statements needs to be fresh ie not more than a month old when you use it).
thanks!
I think you're good to go if you request your documemts now. My fiance also gathered all his paperwork prior to our packet 3. We didn't read anything about a validity of these documents...except the photograph and the police records, which should not be older than 6 months. FYI: We submitted the packet 3 at the embassy in Germany. Check you embassy website...perhaps you will find some detailed information specific for your country.

Dear members,
I submitted a request to expedite my k1 visa application due to a medical emergency on May 30, 2017, and I was asked to submit proofs of medical documentation on June 2, 2017. I submitted the documents on June 2, 2017 as they requested, but I still haven't heard anything back from USCIS. Here is the updated status that is displaying on my uscis account since June 2, 2017:
On June 2, 2017, your request to have your case expedited, referral number, was completed.
Does anyone know what this status means? And, how long should I wait to receive a response back from USCIS about the expedited response? Should I try calling the customer service number to see if they know of anything about the status of my case or is it too early? Please let me know if anyone has had similar experiences. Thanks.
They probably denied your request. USCIS usually don't send out notifications except approvals. Therefore, I guess your request have been denied since your are already waiting some time. Just call again and check if it's denied indeed and what else you can do...perhaps there is another way. Good luck

when your case says ready- you have to complete and submit your ds 160 and then pay the visa fee. once you do this call and inform your us embassy in germany.
This won't work for Germany. You can't even call but only email them. German beneficiaries have to send some documents to the embassy prior to the interview...in addition to DS-160 and paying fhe fee.

Does anyone know if that works only via email and online for Germany?
For Germany, you will get your Package 3 in the snail mail. After you gathered all your documents you will send them back also by snail mail. Package 4 will then be an email.

Guten Morgen,
Super! Vielen lieben Dank für die Info!
Hoffentlich kommt deine Email gaaanz schnell 👌🏼

Guten Abend Fellow Germans,

Hi all,do you know how long our non-criminal record will be available? Because I made 3 copies at the beginning when I applied for k1,I don't know if I need to renew or not, thanks
Usually it shouldn't be older than 6 months.

Hey guys...
Just a quick question. Is "ready" the last update that you can track using the CEAC tracker? Or are there also updates like "Package 3 sent" etc...?

Hello, guys. A little update. We called NVC today, around the time they first open, and we actually got through this time!! They said our petition was received on last Friday and told us to call back in two weeks. Has it really taken two weeks for NVC to assign a case number for any of your petitions? I was thinking of calling them back on Wednesday again. Any thoughts are appreciated!

We've been told our case is being processed electronically which may be part of the delay, but just a heads up that it can actually take the amount of time they quote you. There are quite a few who are waiting a long time for their case numbers, but hopefully yours will be quicker.
FYI: I guess waiting a long time for the NVC case number pays off: Our case is now "ready" and we just got our case number yesterday. 👌🏼
Like @glmg21 already mentioned, some countries/embassies are using the newer electronical processing instead of sending the cases via snail mail. Well, in our it's Frankfurt and it took them probably that long to assign a case number because they had to scan everything for electronical processing.
Have a wonderful day guys...I hope for more NOA's and NVC case numbers to come.

Yeah, we called a short while ago and they said they haven't done the number yet but it should be some time later today.
I notice you are also going through Frankfurt. It's listed as one of the embassies that can handle electronic processing for CR-1 visas, and now seems to be on a trial for the electronic transfer of K1 petitions too. NVC told us today our case was being sent to Frankfurt digitally, and my understanding is that the message you received is what Cr-1 applicants who go through Frankfurt get (Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center).
In their case, they submit their docs to NVC and are given a Frankfurt appointment accordingly. My guess is that they're just sending the same message to all electronically processed Frankfurt applicants, even if you still have to wait for packet 3 and schedule your own appt. Hope this helps.. we're gonna call NVC again later on. My medical is in Berlin on Wednesday and I had to wait a month for the appointment so here's hoping we get it soon!
Awesome! Thank you. This helps a lot. 👌🏼
I really hope that your case number will be assigned today. Anyways, ask to speak to the supervisor since you passed the 2 weeks mark. Good luck and fingers crossed!!

Did you already call NVC today? We got our case number just this morning. I bet you will get yours also today since we have the same received date. 😉

Wow...our case was stuck at the NVC for over a month. NOA2 was May 11 and we just got our case number today. And I can't even believe it but now it's already in transit.
Still I have a question....The note below the "In Transit" status says:
- Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center. -
What does that mean? The interview date was provided where? Will we get an email oder a letter from NVC? I thought that the interview will be scheduled at the embassy?! I'm so confused!
Thank you...

What country?
I guess it's Ghana and you want to immigrate to the US.
Check your local embassy...most have a guideline and infos about the medical.
The medical, in general, includes a chest x-ray, checking for vaccinations, urin and blood test.

Hi...
She will have to have a mailing adress. After the NOA2, she will get a paket from the embassy in Panama with directions for the interview. Where does she live if she doesn't have a mailing adress?
And yes, the employment history has to be filled out, if she is or was working at anytime. Fill out everything that applies to you and just leave columns blank if something doesn't appy to your situation. For example: If you have never been married before, you can just leave the columns blank that ask for name of former spouse.
Good luck on your journey
