We did pay the fee and just found the IOE number. We created an online account and linked it with the IOE number. Our status is now:
On May 26, 2019, we received your USCIS Immigrant fee payment for your Permanent Resident Card related to your immigrant visa. We will be processing the request for production of your Permanent Resident Card. You should receive your Permanent Resident Card within 120 days of your entry into the United States or within 120 days after your USCIS Immigrant Fee payment is received.
We will inquire about the card through the online account.
Is there any other insight or advice you guys would give?
Thank you guys for helping!

We have a LIN number since our process went through Nebraska. When we put that number into this link: https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do the information is outdated. I don't believe we have an IOE. Where do I find or get an IOE number?
Thank you

Hi Everyone,
My husband entered the USA under the immigrant visa IR1 on 07/17/2019 and was told by immigration that his Green Card should arrive in 6 months or he should contact immigration.
It’s been 10 months now and we haven’t received any document. We are unsure who we should contact (his temporary permanent residence will expire 07/2020). If anyone could give us some guidance or insight, we would greatly appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Emily

Thanks, my husband already has both police certificates. And we will get all our documents and forms scanned in PDF format and ready to upload to CEAC as soon as we get the NVC case number. The timeline I mentioned from NVC stage to visa in hand is based on a lot of research here on VJ, reading all of the Brazil forum threads, other VJ threads, NVC website, other immigration forum websites, everything I could find in the last 8 months of research. Obviously it depends on the circumstances of each case, delays can happen, things can go faster, but based all the data I found these are my best estimates. Good luck with the rest of your process!
Great! Thanks again!

Rio schedules the interview about two months out from receiving the file from NVC, and NVC takes 2 or 3 weeks to review documents once all are submitted and approved, so the interview should be about 3 months from today. If approved, the visa takes up to two weeks to be delivered to the beneficiary in Brazil, so between 3 and 4 months from now you should have the visa in hand. Did you upload all documents online to NVC via CEAC? Or did you have to mail in any documents? My husband and I are just a few weeks behind you, we're waiting for our NVC case number which should be assigned in a week or two.
Thanks for your response! I uploaded all of the documets via CEAC. Just make sure you get both civil and federal criminal records (Brazil requires both of them). May I ask where you got this timeline? I just want to understand the process a little better. Good luck with your process! Feel free to private message me with any further questions.

All of our documets are finally approved. It took awhile, since I needed to send in additional information for the case. Now we are just waiting for the interview date. Does anyone have an estimate for how long it takes to get an interview date once all the documets are approved? I am starting to interview with companies for a job and am trying to think through the logistics.
Thanks!

Hi all!
I filed a spousal visa petition and last week we turned in the DS-260 and affidavit of support with all necessary documents to the NVC. Is there an estimated timeline I can expect for an interview date (we are in Brazil)? I.e. 3 weeks or more like 3 months...
Also, do I need to be present for the interview? (I want to apply for jobs and this information would be helpful)
Thank you for any help.

I meant to say I-130.

Hi,
I am going through the K-3 process for my husband. Our petition was approved by the NVC and we have a case number. Two weeks ago, I paid the pending fees and they have still not been processed (although the money has been taken out of my bank account). If anyone could tell me if this is normal or not, I would appreciate it! Does anyone know where can I find a guidline of the steps I should follow for this process?
Thanks,

If you get an RFE and they send it to the wrong address you'll be in trouble. That's about the only issue.
Ok

You can wait up to one year between each submission to the NVC.
Ok, great. Thank you!

You can only change addresses within the USA. I don't think I've ever seen someone able to change an address abroad.
Ok, according do this guide http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/EZGuideSpouse it seems unnecesary. Thanks!

I have filed the I-130 for my spouse and it has been routed to the USCIS Nebraska Service Center. We live in Brazil and we are going to move within Brazil due to my husband's job. Do I need to notify the USCIS? The change of address forms that I have found seem to only be for people already living in the United States. I tried to call the National Customer Service Center, but had no luck talking to a person.

Have you read the guides? If you just filed the I-130 then you are not at this stage.
Ok, thank you for your help.
I filed the I-130 and it was routed to the USCIS Nebraska Service Center for processing. What would the NVC stage be? What should I do at that point?

You can slow it down at the NVC stage for several years.
Is this the stage that I am at? How do I slow it down?

the USCIS Nebraska Service Center

Ok thanks! Do you know if there is also a way to formally pause it?
I also need to notify that we will have a change of address here in Brazil.

I sent in a K3 petition for my Brazilian husband in July and received the NAO1 form. Since then my husband’s job has been transferred and we would like to stay in Brazil for the time being. Is there a way I can pause (not suspend) my petition. I have not received the NOA2 form yet.

Ok, thank you very much!

How can I request anything sent to the beneficiary’s address abroad be sent to a different address? Since there is only one mailbox for six houses, where we live in Brazil and we might not be in town when something is sent to us abroad I would like anything to be sent delivered to my in-laws house in a nearby city. I have already sent in my petition and it went to Nebraska.

P-ana,
Thank you so much for you response!

Hi p-ana, thank you for your response.
I have a few more questions:
1) If I file from abroad (Brazil), can I then move to the US and then wait for him to immigrate?
2) Once I file the I-130 petition, can he enter to visit and then leave the US on a tourist visa?
3) At what stage would he be allowed to immigrate (after the interview from the I-130 petition)?
4) Once he is granted a visa is there a time limit for him to immigrate to the US or does he need to immigrate right away?
I am just trying to understand how the logistics would work since we have a daughter, he has a job in Brazil, and I would need a job in the US.
Thanks again for any insight.

Hey everyone, thanks for all the info!
Just one other question: does anyone know if my husband would be allowed to relocate with me to the United States with a tourist visa and then once we are there file the I-130 petition? I am just trying to understand our options.
Thanks!
Green Card has not arrived and temporary I-551 evidencing permanent residence will expire

In this case it was paid before entry and we still haven't received the card. Are others also experimenting delays?
