You should have it by then though, thats over 2 weeks.

Today marked the day I was approved for a CR-1 visa, so my husband and I can finally start our life together, full time :-)
The interview process was fast, well, organized, easy and extremely friendly. When I think that I've just spend an entire weekend freaking out and meticulously preparing a big portfolio will all the bona fide material imaginable, I didn't even have to open it!
My beloved husband will arrive here on the 22nd so we can spend Xmas and New year's with friends and family, then 2 romantic days in Paris, then flying to the US together, JAN 4th on our first anniversary, no less!
In one word : WOOOOOOOOTTTT, yay :-)

Hubby's visa was ready dec 1, 2 days following interview
Just in case you guys are trying to plan.
They told him at the interview that it would be 10 days or less.
We purchased flights in October lol so we are glad that things are in order
I am going over in a few days to celebrate our anny, then we are coming back together!

Ahhhh!!!! Congratulations!!! Now just to wait for your visa. I am so happy for you. I guess something had to be quick since everything else has moved at a snail's pace.
Hubby is at the embassy now and I am going crazy waiting to hear from him.

Although we are smiling ear to ear this news has come just after finding out our joint sponsor will be moving to another state in the next 4-5 months. Would anybody here happen to know if this will affect our case? As if waiting for apporoval wasn’t stress enough we now have another 😒

So...I don't know what the heck is going on, but I woke up this morning to an email that my hubby's interview date has been scheduled for December 14th!!
AHHHH!!!!!!I'm confused...weren't we supposed to get a case complete letter or something first? Either way, I don't care...nothing can knock us off of our cloud today. It was even better, because we had collectively resigned the idea that he could be here for Christmas. Now there's hope again!

After 8.5 weeks, my status says "At NVC" and also my AOS fee disappear. As per Vj's previous members experience. Its a CC. I have not call NVC but I will tonight and make sure. My SD is 8/31. Just wanted to update my fellow members. Good Luck everyone, those are waiting for CC.

So last night we and my wife each received letters from the NVC through email. Eventhough we have CC, they have asked her to collect all the W-2 for 2016 and send me them to take to my interview...thing is she doesn't have w-2 because she is an independent contractor...so I guess whomever was reviewing the AOS didn't read the employment verification letter well and simply didn't know what 1099's are because those were submitted. And they have also asked that I apply for my police clearance certificate and take it to the interview...which we definitely submitted and it's still valid...so yeah...im glad it things we can easily fix. But anyhow...it almost annoyed me....but i'ma let it slide...because it doesn't change the fact that I have CC 😐

Yea. Taking those things to the interview should be just fine. Are you gonna call to verify any of this? Or you just gonna gather up what they requested and call it a day?

Hey guys! Quick question. Does the employment status of the beneficiary matter during the interview or have an effect approval? Such as job change or lack of employment?
I don't think so, but wanted to get your thoughts.

Been a bit quiet. Life is happening!
I'm so glad to see the NSC approvals!!! I know you guys aren't relieved.
Hubby and I bought a home yesterday. He wanted to be here for the settlement but even though he couldn't be, we are sooooo happy. Things are falling into place!
im headed on vacay now. So I will probably be "Silent Bob" again soon, not sure what my service will be like.

Hey all!!
Checking in.
Hubby's POE was 2 days ago. Everything went super smoothly for us. The officer was very friendly and gave us many well wishes for our anniversary and our future together here in the states.
This is unreal, having him here with us. we are together officially!!
I pray that things move along for all those still waiting.
Congratulations to recent approvals!
