Good day everyone! I just had my interview together with my son last February 22, 2017 and was told by the consular officer that our visa was approved..When i tracked our visa status using CEAC, it said Administrative Processing in the afternoon of that same day, then changed to ISSUED "your visa is in final processing.... " the following day.. How long does it take for us receive our passports with visa?? And is it ok to travel to USA by Emirates Airline?? Thank you.

Did the petitioner, USC, get a hard copy of the NVC letter with the MNL case #?
If so you can go a head and schedule the medical, interview, CFO.
You just need to provide a copy of the NVC letter at the medical (it can be a scanned copy).
CEAC should state, once they received the stuff from NVC and processed it, should say "Ready for Interview".
You most likely will never receive anything in the mail from the embassy though, so do not wait for that stuff.
thank you for the reply.. we just received the eligibility letter from the embassy on my fiancè's email.. and finally we're scheduled for the interview and medical.. hoping for the best

Hello everyone! I am new here.. I just want to ask if i can already schedule for K1 visa interview and medical exam and be interviewed? When checking my status it says "READY" but when i chatted with the embassy agents they said that i should wait for the eligibility letter. Do i need to wait for the letter to get to my address or can i just print out the web page that shows 'READY" ?? Please help cause i am really confused and i just want to make sure and not commit any mistake as i am coming from Davao City. Traveling back and forth from Davao to Manila is really time consuming and expensive.

Need to contact health department about step son's positive skin test - questions

Postive skin test for children doesn't mean they have TB and needs to undergo a treatment.. he could either be allergic to PPD which was used during the skin test, or exposed to TB but doesn't really have TB..most reliable tests to determine tb are chest xray and sputum test(if possible).. Follow ups with pediatricians are needed for them to certify that the child is medically/physically healthy before they can start school..better be safe than sorry.. shouldn't be too expensive good luck..
