  1. NVC open  today. Called to check about interview appointment (my CC Feb 22). Still no appointment :(

This time the rep started with this info without even asking "How can I help you today?".

I asked have they stopped scheduling April and he replied that he have not been told April is finished so may be April is still in the process. Probably they've prolonged after 2 days of additional "weekends". But why it's SOOO long with Ukrainian embassy!

Who else still waiting for appointment with similar CC dates?

  2. Please note nobody reported getting interview date this week. And the same was a month ago. After many appointments at start there is silence for several days. But then (about Feb 17) another portion was appointed.

If they tell us "we are still scheduling" than why nobody reports getting interview date. I think they are not scheduling right now but they mean "we are not finished yet with April" and they will return to scheduling and finish it in several days. I think next week is our landmark.

  3. Thanks Ahmed & Amy!

Called this morning too. What they said that are still waiting dates from my embassy.. I was surprised as the embassy told me they provided dates to NVC a week ago. Than some problem with connection arised and it was hard to speak clearly. But at least I asked "Are you still scheduling April?" The answer was "Yes".

From yours and my info I think the process is not very straightforward. Before it seemed like - embassy sends some table to fill with dates, NVC fills and sends this back to the embassy. This could be done very quick and efficient. But probably the process is much more complex. May be they fill not one month but 1-2 weeks table. Or they have full table from the embassy but do not fill it all at once. May be they do not have dedicated people and it's filled when they have time so it's so slow.

It's also important to ask if they are still scheduling interview FOR YOUR EMBASSY!  Certain embassies fill up very quickly.  If you are from a country where there are not as many applicants, then they still could be scheduling for you.

When you report back, it's also important to say if you have asked for a particular embassy or not.

And I agree - you often get conflicting answers!!!

I've asked exactly this but can't understand their answer :) Some answer they do not have such details, some answer they still schedule but may be they mean "we schedule in general". My English is also not perfect and Google Hangouts not the best quality line so I may miss something.

Will call again in an hour or two and ask as separate questions: 1) Do they still schedule April? 2) Does this apply to Ukraine?   If they give correct answers than other guys may call and ask about their countries.

But what I really think phone reps are not informed how it goes for each country. Some may know and some not.

P.S. From our Spreadsheet Ukraine is no more than ~60 days from CC to Interview. For me it should be April interview. From last month's thread scheduling was reported beginning of February and than one day February 17. It looks like they had two waves.

Hi all. :) I called again last night just to be sure of what the first rep told me the day before yesterday; he said the same thing. He told me that they have not scheduled an interview for me yet (which I figured so) and he said that they have finished scheduling interviews for April right now, he said they would pick up scheduling interviews towards the end of this month. Now I didn't ask him if he meant continuing scheduling for the month of April or starting May interviews.

I suppose I will have to call back and clarify that too.

Has anyone else called about scheduling interviews?? What information were you given?

Hi! They often give conflicting answers. Just yesterday a rep told me they are still scheduling April.

If you call today please ask will they continue April scheduling any way or April is closed and next scheduling will be May only..

Please other folks who called this week share what you have!

I called this morning to check and see if they scheduled an interview for us yet. The rep said that they have not yet and will schedule at the end of the month.  So does anyone know how close to the end of the month will the begin scheduling interviews?

That sounds weird. End of month is next scheduling for May. April should be finally scheduled much sooner, I think this & next week.

Hey, Just want to know if anyone else had received an interview for April 2017 my case complete date is 2/28/17. I called the NVC yesterday and the guy said that my wife has not been scheduled for an interview yet. I want to know if they have all been handed out and I might have to wait for the May 2017 round? thanks for your replies. Embassy is for El Salvador.

NVC recept date: December 19, 2017

    Supervisory Review: January 31, 2017

    Case Complete: February 28, 2017

Recept for CC Received: March 7, 2017

    Interview Date: TBD

Hi, my CC 2/22. from Ukraine. Waiting too, called today still not interview date. But they say scheduling is not finished yet.

I've examined last months thread and it seems there are several rounds of scheduling. The majority got their dates beginning of month, than silence and then another portion about 2 weeks later. May be NVC is scheduling not every day but have some dedicated days for this and we are just waiting for the next one.

What I think, if we don't get till the end of next week than we will not get April dates. So about 1,5 weeks more to wait.

I've gotten the info I need by clicking on each user's name (for those who had interview dates in the past 12 months) and looking at their timelines.

Thanks! It seems some timeline's are more detailed than others. Most timelines do not have CC date. Some last with CC date were getting Interview appointments several days after CC. But it's based on several cases only and no recent ones :(

    It's a nightmare...

I've reviewed it but there is no column with Case Complete. So nothing to count from. Only dates of interviews but no CC date. So that's probably useless. This table focuses on USCIS dates only. Or I do not understand something.

Did you check the Ukraine portal and see what the timelines are from case complete to interview?  This would give you a good estimate.  There is also a spreadsheet on top of this thread where you can filter by visa type and country.

I can't figure how to find this. At Ukraine portal I see some stats but it only shows interview dates. I can't see case complete date on any timeline. I even can't add my CC date to the timeline. It seems the timeline and stats here do not allow to track CC date. And without it any statistic is totally useless at NVC stage.

    May be I miss something?

P.S. Spreadsheet is also not very helpful, I see only several cases from Ukraine there and no recent ones

  11. Friends, who got interview appointment yesterday or even today? From what I see here many of us got appoiments last day of February but now silence here.

Does it mean NVC is done with April appointments and those who haven't got appointments yet should wait a month more? Does NVC schedule appointments  for 1-2 weeks for a particular embassy or they are pretty quick assigning all slots in 1-2 days?

Today my embassy replied that they've already provided April slots to the NVC (although no info when it was done, may be yesterday but may be 2-3 days ago) and I still have no appointment (just called NVC). So I wonder.... Does it mean my embassy is finished and no April slots for me or NVC doesn't process so fast and they are still assigning....

Each embassy has their own number of interview dates available for each class of immigrant every month, so the average wait to interview varies. Some embassies you have to wait several months for an interview even for a CR-1.

Thanks, I've also heard something about different classes of visas but it sounds ridiculous as they can't probably predict this.

For example my visa is employment based and as I know there are very-very-very few such visas from Ukraine. May be several people per months or even less. Why setting up the separate category? And if they have no such applicants at all they just leave empty slots? Because I think there are same officers who interview all types of cases... May be there is just some priority for some categories?
