i am afraid this is going to be another silent week for me.

Today is my birthday and today I received my US Passport.

We waited so many months and we can safely assume the end is closer than the beginning. Look at other months (after January), I think January applicants have made a tremendous progress overall. It just a few of us from really busy and/or slow centers remain waiting. We will get there.

In 10 days will be 7 month since last update on my case, which was about FP procedure...
Almost 2 weeks ago I had  the InfoPass appointment in Norfolk, VA, and did not even want to mention since it was way to useless... Drove 5 hours each way just to hear exactly the same that I can read myself on the USCIS website... and she was not either nice or polite, even though I greeted her nicely with a smile...
I gave up now and don't really care how long would it take, all my plans are messed up anyways...
I hope you will hear something soon about your case!

Placed inline for oath, that means file is fully approved, such a relief, hopefully I will be able to do oath in September but nevertheless i am soooo relieved and it was so needed. Good luck to all

Today is 5 months since the last update on my case... still checking case status randomly

I passed my interview  My case was recommended for approval! I was told the oath is probably going to be in September. Good luck to everyone still in the process!  

All done as of an hour or so ago, so I'm finally a US citizen. Good luck to all of you still waiting. 

Got an email from U.S Department of State saying that my passport has been mailed and that I should receive it on or before August 12.

Paint me red as well!
 
Had my interview today. Oath ended up same day.
 
Appointment time: 9:30 am
Got there at: 9:00
Interviewed: 11:00
Interview was quick. Less than 5mins. Quick 6 questions on history, read and write test, and walk through the application. Then I was told to wait.
After about 40 mins, I was given the approval letter and oath letter. 
 
I waited almost 5 hours to be called to verify certificate. Upon enquiry after all that wait, they found out that the A number on oath letter had a typo so NY file fell through the crack. At last they found it and got the oath dome at 4:30 pm.
 
It was long day. But I am all set.

My status changed 2 days after the interview for inline for oath scheduling. 9 days after that the oath was scheduled.

It took me almost a month for my status to change to in line for interview. You have to wait for your 5 month anniversary is completed before status changes to in line for interview. My mom's status went directly to oath has been scheduled and she was never in line for oath

Requesting for interpreters this time is a hassle - the officer on the phone did NOT know how to request and had to put me on hold while she inquired others how to do it. Then, she said that it has to be 30 days in advance.  Last time, it was no problem when I requested for an interpreter for the interview with 17 days in advance.  I explained, they mailed the letter 5 business days before the original Oath Ceremony on the 24th, then 9 days before the new Oath ceremony on August 12th. How can I make a request 30 days in advance and they KNEW that I would need interpreters.  I mentioned during my interview, I mentioned again when I went for my InfoPass appointment on July 14th.  This is very frustrating!  But at least, I got the confirmation number.  Plus on the oath ceremony letter, it says - Make a request at least 10 days in advance. How would I do that if I kept getting the letters right before the ceremony?  On my application, it was marked very clear that I am deaf.
 
Just hope that there is someone there otherwise, I will end up standing, bored out of my mind.  It's a very important milestone and I would like to be part of it, not left out of it. Very frustrating.

I am just wondering as to why you need an interpreter

Got my letter this afternoon. My oath ceremony will be August 7 in Chicago 

Nbc case no. have almost nothing to do with if you are next, as nbc numbers are not alloted by field offices and different field offices have different speeds, and i mean a difference of months, so a guy with nbc no. after you may be in a faster field office and can have interview scheduled 2, 3 months before you or vice versa. 
  However if you are inline and want to predict time,data of applicants with same field office will give you a better idea

@weakheart I had my interview 7-20-2017 and I got a txt and email yesterday saying that I was placed in line for the oath ceremony. So 4 business days. I'm a NY February filer. Another NY February filer got theirs 3 days later I believe. Hope this helps. 

Congratulations man!!! Now get back to checking USCIS website for updates everyday.
