ah...just like when I was in a virtual line for Hamilton tickets. I gave up the moment I saw 90,000 people in front of me. But I guess with the USCIS, there's really no virtual line. They can just pick a random file from the pile to work on.

That would have been nice. But I think most of the process is automated and none really knows the big picture of your case until it is handed to a particular IO.

I wish atleast tracking case had some extra info that would say that your case is stuck for xyz reason, there are x no. of cases ahead of you and your status would most likely to be changed in y days

Hey buddy, i did call them in the begging of last week before i joined this forum and basically they was only be able to tell me the same as USCIS status check page says... No details, no nothing... And they held me for about 15 minutes on a line... 
Worth to call only if you have a special number of the right person i guess...

Well good luck. I should be getting it in two weeks too. However, since my PD is 01/26 January, I may get my interview letter a month after early January filer gets there interview letter. 
 
I tried to check OK City timeline but there isn't a lot entries to go by.

I couldn't make it i was checking  this post every single day, i'm back,  tired of waiting,  i'm expecting to receive a status change by the middle of June  and the Interview Probably will be at the end of July , this means i still need to wait 2 months and 1/2 from now, i never thought the N400 processing time will takes that long, i thought it is the easiest journey, but its in reality the longest one, the total months from when i filled to may be when this process will be finished is approximately 8 to 9 months

There is still no "May 2017 filers" thread opened. I think everyone had already applied between Jan-April. Could this mean, the USCIS may move a bit faster in summer?

Note that this is *NOT* a quote that should be attributed to me...  I suspect that this is probably VIK376 who is in line; mine certainly is not - still stuck in fingerprints.  So, the date that is marked on the table for me is not accurate either..

Just talk to my attorney in order to see if he might know anything about my case. So, he said wait at least 6 (six) month since NOA and then call me...
Dang it, he's always calm and seems kind of careless but I trust this guy... it's proven... So, will patiently wait. He mentioned that USCIS constantly move employees from field to filed... For instance last year major priority could be N400 and all cases moved fast due to this, but now it could be I485 and so on... 
I know, this is not what you would like to hear, but kind of a heads up... If it make you feel any better, my FP was on 2/06/17 and i'm not even in line for interview yet... So, you good

I don't even the see point for a interview? They have all the information they need. and same with the oath. I mean will having someone take the oath prevent them from not doing something that they aren't suppose to do? But again, I am only in my early 20's. Maybe my point of view is different than the elder people who created these policies?
