Finally received my EAD today! After 123 days...
 
I wasn't expecting it because i called for a tracking number and was told my status update was wrong and that they hadn't mailed my card yet, so I was to disregard any status update I received... my husband walks in in a few hours later with a priority mail envelope and to my surprise it was my card.
 
Some of those officers are really confused!
 
Anyhoo the wait still continues but glory be to God this makes it a little easier...

I think we've all learned the lesson : it's important to be very cautious with the information provided by the representatives on the phone  !

It's been a while since I've posted...im filing from Virginia 
Finally after 116 day, 2 Sr's and a request to have my Ead expedited due to severe financial loss my card went into production on August 18th and change to " card was mailed to me" today. Hopefully I get it by the end of the week 😊
 
My advice is to be persistent and keep calling, put in those service request and ask to expedite!  My case was approved after I asked to expedite...the same day.
 
Congrats to everyone who received there EAD/GC already...
 
The wait continues....one more lap to go. This process takes fair & patience. Hang in there!♥️

How much time between "case is ready to be scheduled for interview" to " interview scheduled?"

Seems dc office is very backlogged and I am not expecting to have any updates soon for my 485. The uscis website says the 485 for dc office is still on august 2016. But anyway, wish everyone the best!

No change since then and who knows what will happen after the supreme court ruling on the executive order yesterday!!

@DMLAHey, Just registered and trying lean how to use this page. I'm from VA/DC area as well. My case had updated to "ready to schedule " since 06/15. Still no updates since then.  No news from EAD so far:(

Got the interview appointment letter today. Stated a bunch of documents I need to bring. I forgot to take a copy of my original application. I'll have to try to remember everything I sent to the USCIS so I can bring the originals to the interview.

Also remember that country of nationality has a great impact on how quickly one get interview scheduled or how long it will take to get approved afterward. They intentionally delay cases stating extended background checks beyond FBI name check and biometric records. It is called CAARP; Search this term.

Hello everyone!
 
Completed my bio-metric appointments yesterday. It was pretty straightforward and fast, I did have to show my marriage certificate along with my bio metric appointment letter so I am  glad I took it with me. Thanks to the person who recommended taking it to the appointment.
 
The wait continues... 

Update: I received my biometrics appointment in the mail today.

Oh wow...that's strange!
 
Well what actually ended up happening with me is I called then to find out why i didnt receive it with my other NOA's and they said sometimes they come at different times. I ended up getting it the next day....just happy i got it!
 
Im waiting on my biometrics now...
 

Let's hope it does. If not, you have your receipt number anyway so you can track its progress online. 🙂
 

I agree with what @Katrin.TX said, it could be the worker who has your case. Give them another week and then contact them....
