Good morning folks,
Anyone here sent in their AOS or IV package yet? I'm waiting for my police clearance (yes I didn't get it yet and forgot to order it).
Also, anyone here doing joint sponsor?
Have a great week!

Here is my timeline:
Approved at USCIS: April 10th
Sent to NVC: April 20th
Received at NVC: April 25th
Assigned Case Number: May 9th
Received Welcome Email from NVC: May 9th
(This email told me I am required to use CEAC and gave me my case number and Invoice number)
Paid AOS/IV Bills: May 9th
AOS/IV Bills marked as Paid: May 11th
DS-260 and I864 submission becomes available: May 11th
Now that the bills are marked as paid, I am able to submit my DS-260 and I-864 and supporting AOS documents.
I am guessing once I complete my DS-260 I will be able to upload my Civil Documents and have it processed at NVC.
All in all a pretty fast process so far.
Here is a screenshot of the CEAC website. (I am currently in the process of finishing my DS-260)
Mine was similar to yours:
Approved at USCIS: April 13th
Sent to NVC: April 20th
Received at NVC: April 26th
Assigned Case Number: May 9th
Received Welcome Email from NVC: May 9th
Paid AOS Bills: May 9th
Paid IV Bills: May 10th

How many days did it take to receive the email from the date your case number was assigned?
and Did you give your email address over the phone to an agent? if not (as Cat_Dad described you can add the email address on the website), how could your wife receive the email from NVC?
Thank you so much for your reply in advance.
Our case was recieved by NVC on April 26, but it was assigned on May 9th. We just got a welcome email with our case number and Invoice number.
I logged into the system and made the payments. Waiting now for the status to change from "In Progress" to "Paid".
When I check my Visa Case Status though, it says "Action required: Complete Form DS-260"

Yeah that's what I thought. Then he provided an email address that we could contact:
CANVCEDP@state.gov -
Hey folks,
Did any of you receive a phone call from NVC and have a person that they will be your dedicated assistant during the whole NVC process?
-
My wife got the email this morning and will be making the payments for both IV and AOS today. I'm excited that we are in this new system and hope this will make things move faster.
-
Right after I sent that message on this thread, I got the notification on the app and emails that my I-130 was approved. (Case Was Sent To The Department of State)

Hey December folks,
WE GOT APPROVED!!!
My wife checked the mail today and got the NOA2. Man are we super excited! We were having a rough week and this was the best way to end our week.
We didn't get any email or text message notification, nor did the app or even USCIS website show the update. Still says "Case was received"
I would keep an eye on your mail and not worry much about the email or app notification.
Have a great week guys and girls

Hi Finayyy,
How do I look up October and November cases? Please advise.
Thanks
I honestly just started going backwards by 10000 until I hit the Oct/November range.
I haven't checked recently as I travelled to the US to spend some time with the wife and attend some of her prenatal appointments.

Would you mind creating a timeline ?

How can I check 1000 cases? The app limits the search to 500 cases. Is there another way? I hope our cases get approved next month in April (December Filer).
I break it down into groups of 200

Just wanted to provided some updates:
So I bumped up the tracking to 1000 cases. I checked today and Potomac has processed some cases in mid to late November.
Seems like they're everywhere because some cases in October are also being processed.
Will continue to keep everyone posted

I downloaded the Case Tracker app by Stephen Aldous. How do I track that many cases? Is there an option for that? I'm tracking my own individual case but how do I track multiple cases i.e. 800 cases?
I track 200 cases at a time.
On the bottom next to the tab that says "My Case" should be the "search" tab. Click on that tab, input a case and then set the search limit amount up to 500. Don't track 500 repeatedly as your IP address will get flagged by USCIS and won't be able to look up cases for a few days. Ask me how I know ?

Hello,
Any approvals for those who filed I-130 in Dec, 2016 (Potomac Processing center)?
Thanks

When you plug in your case number on the USCIS site, if and when approved, what is the exact message on an I-130 approval that is sent to NVC?
I am seeing many "My Card Has Been Sent To Me" but I think that is for employment visas?Based on what I saw on the app, and my recollection, "Your case is approved"

it don't matter if she pregnant or not, that will not make your process go any faster.
I know it won't make it go faster. I was just mentioning that I hope things speed up soon as this is my first child and I'm missing out on certain things.

Potomac as well.. Dec 12th.. Looks to be a long wait..
Potomac as well.
Hoping it goes quick since the wife is wife is pregnant in US. I've already made a trip down and had no issues crossing over. Thinking about doing it next month again by bus for her next ultrasound appointment.
Has anyones time line line changed recently? Mine says March 13-29

This is such a miracle. Woke up to see my case has been approved by Nebraska. They received my case on Dec 28 and I was hoping to wait till June or July since Nebraska was like middle of nowhere. I still can't believe my eyes. It was approved on Feb 15, but still what a perfect gift from god for valentine! Truly blessed!!
Which service center was your I-130 at?
Im checking the app and VJ for any possible updates.

o man that's rough, but you're from Canada so you shouldn't have a problem visiting, if anything that's good proof of legitimate relationship
Yes it's pretty rough. But I was able to travel to the US and currently am here visiting. I'm hoping there was some sort of way to expedite this so I can be there closer to the due date.
I have been tracking random cases through the Case Tracker app and seeing some movement in September 30 range at Potomac.

Hey everyone,
I thought I had commented on this thread but didn't.
My NOA1 is December 09.
I'm extremely excited and nervous at the same time. Hoping things speed up quickly as I found out that my wife (the USC) is pregnant.

I sent in the IV application. And today I got an email from NVC saying they received it and accepted it. They're just waiting for my Civic and Financial documents.
I like how they're informing us this. Makes everything more clear and understandable.
