Congratulations! Anyone here still waiting for an interview like me?
I have my I-751 interview next Thursday. They're asking for my wife to attend also. Is that normal? I doubt they're going to do a combo otherwise I have to study the civic questions this weekend.

On 1/14, I received an email stating my status was changed to "Testing and Interview".
On January 14, 2022, we scheduled an interview for your Form I751, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS ON RESIDENCE, Receipt Number MSC199101xxxx. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
Waiting for that letter to come in the mail. I have USPS Informed Delivery setup also.
I also filed for my N400. I'm hoping to have both at the same time. Time to review the questions
I also am realizing now that I don't even recall what I submitted for my I-751 :(

What information did you provide with the form if you don't mind me asking?
Really sorry for the late response.
I sent the following:
tax returns
photos of my familycar insurance slips
bank statements
plane ticket to mexico for my brothers wedding
financial breakdown for a mortgage of a house we were going to offer (we didn't and got out bid by a lot)

I got tired of waiting for the ROC. So I filed the N-400
Filed: 11/16/2021
Biometrics: 12/17/2021 (Scheduled)
I filed online because I didn't want to deal with paper work.

You should call USCIS and request an info pass appointment. As mentioned above, you need to have a valid reason to schedule an appointment for the stamp...saying "because my 18 month extension letter is expired" is not reason alone. In my case, I received a letter from DMV saying I need to renew my license (the expiration date on the license was the same date of my 18 month expiration)...the DMV letter is considered a valid reason...I hope this helps, and good luck!
When I tried to use the drivers license for requesting an info pass, they flat out denied me. I even mentioned that my drivers license would expire and the lady said they don't consider it urgent. So I said I was in the process of changing jobs and they classified that as valid.

How did you call to USCIS? I tried too many time, but can’t go through.
When I called, I figured out that you have to say "schedule an infopass". Anything else will cause the system to take over and good luck at that point.
Side note: I didn't get to do the info pass on Jan 19 because it was cancelled due to the inauguration. I called them back on Tuesday and the agent was super friendly and understood the situation. I got a call on Wednesday morning to schedule and when the lady was about to enter it, she noticed that the Philadelphia Office has already scheduled me for mid February. After explaining that I had no drivers license and this would impact my work and a possible job opportunity (which I didn't get), she scheduled me for Friday afternoon (22nd).
Once I got into the office on the 22nd, the agent took my passport and verified everything and stamped it for 1 year. He mentioned people are just filing their citizenship forms while waiting for the removal. Recommended I just do that while waiting. He said they are backed up and have to adhere to covid restrictions so they aren't operating at full capacity. All in all, I was in and out in 20 minutes.

On Friday I got an email from the Philadelphia Field Office stating the they were cancelling my appointment because of the inauguration. I was instructed to call back the contact center to reschedule. Man this stinks because I was trying to change jobs soon.

Thursday was supposed to be my day 7. I called yesterday and they said they were not sure why I didn't get a call and the lady over the phone said she would put an additional request as urgent. 30 minutes later, I get a call back from the 202 phone to schedule an appointment to get my passport stamped. I was trying to see if they could just do my interview instead but the lady on the phone said this had to be done first.
Jan 19 at the Philadelphia office.

I had to request a call back 4 times. Each time it varied how long it took them since the request to call back. Fastest was 3 days. Keep your phone with you even after office hours, I believe I once got a call at 8 PM.
Thank you. I keep my phone with me always normally.
I think I might start filing for my citizenship at this point since it's been well past 3 years since I got my initial green card.

I'm still waiting for a call back for my info pass. I'm on day 5.
For those that had info pass, roughly when did they call you?
My case is still at ready to be scheduled. Almost feel like it's a waste of time doing the extension stamp if I'm already at this state.

I’ve been waiting since May 2020 after our case was changed to “Case is Ready to be scheduled for an interview”. 18 month extension expires next month. I called in last week and was told to wait 7 business days for an officer to call me. Waiting again. Sigh

Anybody else still waiting???
I've been waiting since May 5 after receiving notification that my case was ready to be scheduled.
Also, I called USCIS and asked about my 18 notification slowly expiring as my drivers license was based on that date. The gentleman on the phone mentioned to call back 30 days prior to it expiring, if I didn't hear back, to request an update and they might put me on a list to get an extension. At this point, I'm considering filing for my N-400.

I got an email last night that my "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview".
I'm in the Philadelphia region and did my initial interview in Canada.
My case starts with MSC.

Hi everyone,
I filed my application May 4 2019, completed the bio metrics on June 4 2019 and my status is still showing as "Case Was Updated to Show Fingerprints Were Taken" since June 5 2019.
Anyone else in that time frame got any updates? I used the Case Tracker app and saw everyone with a I-751 around my case number have their status to "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview"
It's a little frustrating to see others progress while others are stuck. I'll end my rant here.

I had my biometrics done on Tuesday. I originally tried to do a walk in on Monday, but they pulled me into a room and informed me that they couldn't due to being short staffed that day. "Under normal circumstances, we would have allowed for it." Got an email yesterday with "We have taken action against your case". I checked online and it said Biometrics was done on the 5th. The old USCIS tracker site now recognizes my case number also. Now it's a real waiting game.

Just recieved my NOA1 in the mail for 5/10/2019

Hi everyone - quick question. For those that have entered the US already, did you receive a Form I-94 at your port of entry? For Drivers License, this form is required and I didn't receive it on entry. Thank you!
I didn't receive an i-94. I just used my SSN and stamp on the passport.

Hi everyone - I was wondering if anyone has received their plastic green card yet and if so, how long that took after you entered the US? Also, although I am not actually moving to US for another few months, I want to get the border crossing done so that I can get the physical green card sooner. I live in Toronto and I do not have a car. My plan is to bus to the nearest US/Canada bridge and walk across the bridge to do the entry to US. Once completed, I plan to bus back to Toronto on same day. Do you expect I would encounter any problems with this? Could the border agent deny me entry since I plan to return to Canada immediately after and do the real move with all my belongings a few months later. Appreciate any assistance on this. Thank you!
- My interview was June 30.
- Crossed over July 15 by plane
- returned June 16 by car (yep next day)
- reentered into the US twice between June and July
- moved permanently Aug 18 (came back by bus)
- received new SSN the week of Aug 28
- received green card early Sept

Update: Interview was this past Monday, it is now THURSDAY and I just picked up the passport with the visa inside. They also sent back the original marriage certificate and original birth certificate back. They also included some papers with information on it that I will find useful.
Great to hear.
I suspect they held onto your original documents because they had to make copies of it or to verify it's authenticity. Did you have photocopies of your original documents when you went to your interview?

I have my I-751 tomorrow morning. I read in the letter that my wife has to attend. We have a N400 filed. Does that mean I might have a combo interview? If so, I need to study asap.
