If you're getting your GC through marriage to a USC you can become a citizen three years from the date on your conditional green card. You can submit your application 90 days before that 3 year date. Mine is sometime in May so I can apply three months earlier i.e. late Feb.
Thank you . very helpful

Certainly feels like it. I'm early May and got the usual fob off response. Ho-Hum. I'll start citizenship in March anyway which should kick it up a notch. That's assuming there are no more EO dictats.
I will do the same thing too . they received my application early May when do yoy thing i should be able to file for citizenship?

18 May.
I was worried because we live a non-traditional lifestyle (we travel all year) and, therefore, don't have a lot of the stuff that most people have to support our application e.g no rent, utilities, etc. And I only sent a handful of bank statements. However, we still got approved. We did get interviewed for AOS which was just before we started traveling, so I don't know whether that approval helped this one or if they're independent of each other.
Congratulations on your approval!!!!

I received an email from USCIS last night
Application Type: CRI89, PETITIO88thN TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED
Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production
On January 25, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WACxxxxxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. So relieved. Interestingly enough, this was the day after I spoke to a tier 2 person complaining about the delay. And to check they had my correct address on file. She said that they were currently working on applications from 4 days earlier than mine. So I wouldn't be able to chase it up until next week. And now I don't have to. Next step citizenship in three months time!
Which day did they receive your application?

Today I received an email from USCIS:
On 01/04/2016, you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your I-751 Form. You wanted to obtain your current case status and remind us that the last thing you did was attend your biometric appointment. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.
Your biometrics successfully attached to your application on 06/01/2016. The processing of your I-751 is within our current processing time. We are adjudicating I-751 files that were filed more than six months ago. We notice that you filed your I-751 petition slightly more than six months ago, so yours falls into that category. Therefore, we are working on it in the order in which it was received.
In the meantime, please continue to use the I-751 Receipt Notice, which extends the validity of your green card for an extra year, allowing you to work and travel abroad, while we process your I-751.
We hope this information is helpful and appreciate your continued patience.I received same letter today .i feel like is an automated letter

Don't rely on their 45 days commitment. I got the same reply that I would receive a notice within 45 days. They sent it on the middle of November 2016 and I haven't got any new notice ( it's middle of January 2017 now). I'm a April filler. I feel like there is no hope. I don't know what to do. It's so heavy in my heart keep waking up every morning worrying about future.
We are all in the same boat my friend. Just be patient that's all . feels like they just stopped approving people after December. I wounder why
