  1. Call the IRS number, 1-800-829-1040 and ask for the transcripts... but ask for them to FAX the transcripts. You just saved 15 days. YOUR WELCOME

Do you have a copy of the tax returns to go with the W2s? W2s by themselves are not enough. You need a copy of the tax returns to send with the W2s or you will have to wait for tax transcripts.

  2. I GOT IT!!!! 10:43PM - Oficially 14 tries and on the 14th... GOT IT. First operator to answer, a man, forgot the name, easily gave me both numbers and told me that i still couldnt pay... He was right, the bills are not ready to pay... but as soon as they are...i'll be ready.

Is there anyway i can procede with my NVC stuff as of this point. With all of the information i have.

I have the case numbers, the IIN's... Come on.. there's gotta be something i can do...

you have to change it in your profile

    JEEEZZZ

Getting the Invoice Identification Number sure is a ######.

9 times and counting... and still no luck... only one woman told me yes it's available and just before she told me it, she spoke to a co-worker over the phone mic. covered and then told me she couldnt provide it.

Are you pursuing the K-3 or the CR/IR1 visa? Because the IIN in CR/IR and you have this posted in K-3 forum

    OH yea! I'm sorry

  4. yeah, I'm a recent one.. took about 8 days to enter NVC and get it in the system.. still waiting for the IITN number though..

    HEY~~!!

    I GOT THE CASE NUMBERS....

CALLED JUST NOW... AT LIKE 10:40PM... ONLY A 2 MINUTE WAIT... GIRL ASKED 3 QUESTIONS(EAC#, BENF. NAME, DOB) and BOOM gave me the case numbers super easy.

Did not give me IIN numbers though! hah ha. I'll keep trying everyday now...

  5. Reason i ask is cause i see so many timelines (like yours) that in just 5-8 days your cases were recieved at NVC

A petition may take anywhere from 2-7 weeks to reach the NVC. I've seen some posts by a few members where it's taken longer than that but they're few and far in between.

After the NVC receives your petition, it can take them up to a week to assign you a case #. They will not enter this in the IVR, so you will have to talk to a live agent to find out what your case # is.

  6. How long does it take USCIS to package and send the petition to NVC. How many days after the approval does USCIS take, and how do they send it...

Also How long does it take NVC to issue case number...

I need this information because at my consulate i think because of some past cercumstances with my case i can get an OPEN interview, in otherwords, i show up with all of the docs and medical complete and i can go any day i have those ready.

  7. I seemed to have made a mistake!

My wife's I-130 hasnt been approved yet.. ONLY the baby's... however they were both touched today. Only the baby's was approved.

    HOWEVER

I received the letter in the mail dated SEP 22 from USCIS that the expedite request i sent in was APPROVED. I figure it's only a matter of time.

Man, i coulda sworn i clicked on her number and saw an approval... #######

How long should the rest take... i figure the baby's went first because there really is no background checks for her or anything... it's just approval at face value...

  8. Severe financial Loss...

That was the 3rd time i made an expedite req.

    CJ,

    Thanks so much...

ALL here: THank you allllllll SOOOO MUCH.

I will call USCIS on Monday and find out about the Expedite... but from the looks of it: YES it was the expedite because as you cansee from my signature the baby's I-130 is from JUNE. So unless VSC is stepping it up...

    i dont know...

I wish everyone the best... and hope that you're next. I will still be here daily and probably annoy some people with NVC questions.. so please forgive me in advance.

what was the reason for the expedite that u gave them, if i may ask?

YMR...But what if she doesnt live in the capital... she lives in La VEGA.

yea but it even says on the SDQ consulates web site that "based on your medical history the physician will determine which vaccines are needed..." So if they come with a vaccine history they'll be better off...

Hey... YMR... where should i tell her to get the Police Certificate... i heard that it wasnt really at the Policia Nacional but instead the DGII or Procuraduria or some ####### like that... you know how cops and buscones lie to get one dollar over there..

She has to go to the Postal Office at La Feria the Procuraduria is running the process inside if the postal office building. The process is quick, she will get it same day. There is not buscones there, she would have to do that by herself. She has to bring the cedula, 1 pic and RD$330 pesos. Certificate is issued same day.

  9. CJ,

Checked USCIS and noticed that we recieved NOA2 for Baby's I-130 and my wife's I-130.

I dont know if it was the expedite request or just a stroke of luck.

By the way the K3 was not approved to date, not even touched.

Any ideas on what are the immediate steps i should be taking... I'm already working on the vaccines cause there's no way in hell i'm coughing up $345 per person on vaccines, she'll do them with a local hospital or clinic and bring proof.

You have to wait until the Consulate contact you, the documentation would go the NVC now and your relatives are going to be contacted later.

vaccines at local hospitals, please, here they only provide the vaccines to newborns for free, for adults you don't ge them for free. The consulate only accept medical records from the Consultorio de Visa that is the only clinic the has a contract with them.

Good luck here in this country everything means MONEY

  12. Negative... Steve y Jessica. "Intent" is an opinion in fact it can literally never be proven. Since it can not be proven and since he is genuinely in love with his wife they are a real couple, she met him in the US as a single woman and had nothing to do with him. Thats enough... She never came looking for a husband and even if she DID there is no proof. The only proof is in her mind and unless they tie her down and give her truth serum, it will stay as whatever he/she say it is. LUCKILY someone, some senate committe, some senator left that "loophole" there for a reason, maybe its a "check" against the stupid beauracracy they put us through. Who cares, just take advantage of it Chilly. You never know, whats gonna happen. I forsee a fee increase any day now. And this whole enormous backlog will just get worse. Get your wife here and keep her here. You can't fight any battles, you have no court to go to or any right to defend yourself if she is Mexico. Here in the US the ball is in your court. Play to WIN.

The type of visa that you have has nothing to do with being denied entry.

It is US law that states that they presume that anyone entering the US is intending to immigrate. It is your job to prove that she does not intend to immigrate. This is why my wife was denied a B2 visa. Because as my wife, they felt there was a good chance that she would not return to her country. This was before we petitioned for her visa.

There are many people who are denied entry while using a visitor visa or the Visa waiver program, due to their ties to a US citizen.

I would apply for the Visa correctly, then just continue doing what you are doing until it is approved.

  13. I agree with justashooter... screw USCIS... keep the ball in your court or you'll suffer like all of us while USCIS plays poker with our $355 filing fees.

Adjust status or come back from Mexico before she shows and STAY here. You can easily have a valid medical reason for her overstaying her visa. Get a certified midwife to write it up for you (pregnancy, baby too young for travel, etc.)

keep her in the US and file for adjustment of status. don't let her go to mexico till she has her GC or other suitable docs as required by statute.
  14. Have you called to find out about what happened to your I-129F?

I dont think they are transferring people with both the CR1 and the K3... do you know of anybody who got transferred?

Both of the petitions are together now.. they are an "A" file as the infopass officer told me... She even has an "A" number now...i dont think they'll re-split the petitions and i dont think CSC is taking K3's

it's strange...I thought all of the 2/24 blackhole people were transferred to CSC. I think you should see your approval very soon...

I was in the 02/24 black hole and had petitioned for a 130/CR1 and 129F/K3, and I was transferred to CSC. As far as I know, only VJ user Math Man and I are in this situation. Our 130 was transferred (mine approved, don't know about Math Man) and our 129F seems to have been cancelled (he found out when he tried to change address and I can still see my 129F with an April date pending at VSC).

  16. I'm one of the people from the 2/24 black hole group.

I know for a fact that my I-130 and the K3 are together.. i just dont know where or by what date its getting processed. Anybody out there with a K3 April NOA1 or one of the I130's with the 2/24 black hole "touch" ?

Am i the only dumb ### left waiting?

  17. Yep... they never put themselves in their clients shoes... they dont understand the word "follow up" or "keep in touch". Apparently the 8 years of schooling and the thousands of dollars in law school taught them nothing. They are all liars, exaggeraters and arrogant.

Stay away from Borene Law Firm in Minneapolis, MN! The firm will overcharge you and scam you, such as charging you for each e-mail they send you! They did so little and charged about $10,000. I wouldn't recommend anyone going there, unless they want to get scammed. You get charged per "hours of work", not the actual work. They make mistakes and you will find yourself repeating the correct version of the document to them over and over again. In that situation it's best to get rid of such "help". You know a lot more than most lawyers out there anyway.

I can honestly say that unless you need them for anything AFTER filing the petitions then dont use them. Any retard can fill out a form (except them). Lawyers are only used when there are major complications or when you have doubts about the interview or when you want to file suit like Gogo. Otherwise, save your thousands on people who love you and things you love, not people who love your wallet.

  18. I fyou get married in Thailand and file a K3.. you're interview will be in Thailand... regardless of what her status is... thats the law in the life act... the interview must take place in the country of marriage.

I am from Burma. After living for years in USA, I just become US citizen. I have a girl friend that recently has a chance to escape from Burma to Thailand with her Burmese passport.

I was never been able to go visit Burma to meet her before and although after receiving the US citizenship. I believe everyone in the world knows about Burma regime and their heartless abuses to Burmese people. After the so many ways of trying, she reached Thailand where has a lot more humanities than Burma.

I am now urgently looking for a way to bring her to USA. My plan was to go Thailand, marry her there, go see US Embassy as necessary, and bring her here.

Can you advise me the steps and requirements to do so, please?

    Thank you.

    Kite

What is her status in Thailand? Has she applied for asylum? I believe you need to have legal status in the consular district you will be applying in. Your case might be complex enough to consult with a good immigration lawyer. Best of luck.

  19. You will almost never see me congratulating people... but your timeline and story and "tone of voice" in your posts makes my eyes water.. (i'm a 24 yo MAN by the way..lol) But from the bottom of my heart.. I congratulate you and your wife on your approval. Not just on your approval, your dedication to eachother, the patience, the love and understanding and the damn determination to put USCIS up against the wall and bent over backwards where they should be.

Good job Gogo and congratulations.. Hope you and your wife have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year without USCIS in the back of your head. Take care.

  :dance:   YAY, WE GOT APPROVED AT 2:30PM PST.. THE LAWYER CALLED AND SAID THEY RECEIVED THE APPROVAL LETTER (FROM THE LOCAL OFFICE, SHEESH).. THEY FAXED ME A COPY SO I KNOW IT WAS FOR REAL, WITH THE DISTRICT DIRECTOR'S SIGNATURE..

BOTH I-130 AND I-129F GOT APPROVED!! BUT I'M STILL GOING WITH THE LAWYER AND CONTINUING ON THE I-130 PATH.. IT MAY SEEM LONGER, BUT IT WILL BE WORTH IT AT THE END..

  20. i wrote... but yea i dont think he gives a ####... I dont think anybody who works in USCIS ever gives a #### or this problem would've been fixed a long time ago. It's like an employee who isnt performing well.. he either gets fired or learns how to perform. But USCIS always gets a pass.

    nothing yet?

I guess it's only Monday... Oops, did I say 'only'?
