Hello K1 Family. I just wanted to share my interview experience yesterday at the Manila Embassy. 
I was there around 8:20 and before you enter, they will ask you for your DS-160 so they can put the barcode sticker in it. They would also ask what time is your interview appointment.
You don't have to worry since there are a lot of people there who would tell you what to do, where to go and what is next. Upon entry, they will let you sit to wait for your turn on the Pre-interview. 
On the pre-interview, i was asked for all my documents. Don't worry, they will give back what they don't need and they would ask if something is missing. The lady also asked for pictures and since i had a thick album, she just had me open it and show to her so she can note it on the system. 
After the pre-interview, you will need to fall in line for the finger printing window (window 46 if I am not mistaken). Please make sure that your hands are dry and to read the instructions while waiting so you won't have a hard time. You will need to show your DS-160 then your name and then finger print scanning. 
Once you are done, you will need to sit with the others for your interview, there will be people assisting you so do not worry. During my interview (Window 60), it was so smooth. I was asked for my DS-160 then my name then he went to get my documents and then made me do the oath which you will just say YES. He asked me 5 questions: 
1. Where did you and Matthew meet
2. How many times did he come here
3. What does he do?
4. Where is he living?
5. Have you ever travelled outside the Philippines?
Then the consul looked at me and smiled and said "So i see here that the relationship is genuine and that we will approve your visa" and I smiled and said thank you and I even told him that i have a lot of evidence in my bag and he said that he can see that since my bag is big but it is no longer necessary. Then i was told to wait for my visa within 5-10 business days and was given the pamphlet. 😁😁😁😁
I went outside and it was around 9:35 am.

I just got my birthday wish for those who read my horrific story   I am crying hysterically and about to call Africa and tell him the news  We are December 27th filers and they have never touched our case, so all in ONE day APPROVED!

Per the I-134:
"if you are not a U.S. Citizen based on your birth in the United States...answer the following as appropriate."
 
So if the sponsor is a USC by birth in the US, then nothing in Part 1 for #11 or #12. No need to proceed if any other case is also met (i.e. also having USC parents).
 
If the sponsor is a USC by birth to a USC parent but not born in the US, then fill in 11.b and check the box. Also fill in #12.
 
 

It was about time! at least some news! I am glad for you

I looked at our case this morning(and last night) and nothing changed. Checked my emails and it says my case had changed to approved(this can be done through USCIS website. Create a login and set up your email with your case number to get email and text updates). Went back into the app and it finally changed....
 
WE ARE APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!! 
 
So happy right now :):):):):)

I just got federal jury duty summons for July, sent them a message saying I'll be gone until July 9th and low-and-behold they give me a partial excuse for the month of July right up until July 9th (Thanks! Its not like I get in on the 10th at 8am or anything after flying all night long). I know one thing has nothing to do with the other but seriously I'm so fed up right now with this system.

Just wait, all will come , I receive embassy conformation month after they receive paper work , email will come to sponsor. Meanwhile if you in hurry do your police report and medical .  

NO , you need to call NVC and find out if they receive your case ,have some basic inf ready like beneficiary's birthday . 

You will be able to correct it when you there , don't stress for now.You almost there . If you have something you want to know you may post it here , someone probably will know about it .

I don't know if you can correct it or not ... but tbh as they require the passports to be valid min for 6 months after US entry, I would wait with the DS-160 until you have the new passports in hand. I won't risk that they maybe deny it because of the passports not being valid long enough.
But that's just me ... I would chose the short time frame it takes longer than to risk a longer time frame waiting

Hello, I'm newbie on VJ. My case was approved on march 23 on USCIS website, and has received the letter. I have no clue how to check if my case has sent to NVC. Should I call USCIS? How to get a new case number? 
 
Your help would be very appreciated. I'm desperately need a clue... 

Yes, I am from Moscow/Russia, and had my interview at the Consulate 10 days ago. I'll be happy to help.
 

Dont think you need any of it. But if makes you feel better 2-3 pages will be more than enough. 

Hey folks. Just checking in to give you an update. We had the medical exam in Manila last week. Tomorrow we fly back for the visa interview, which will be Thursday 4/6! Then I fly back to the states and wait. :-)

What for? You can only get priority once the official USCIS processing times are behind your filing date. Right now it's on October 15.

Has anything been touched yet for Jan? I got my NOA1 on Jan 24th. should i even be thinking about the NOA2 right now? lol

Hello, our received date was Nov 3rd and we are still waiting too  

our case reached the Kenya Embassy and was updated to ready on the 28th Mar 2017 but up to now there are no appointment dates available and we cant even pay the visa fee because the scheduling website cant allow us to print a payment slip when there are no appointment dates available, its so frustrating and annoying.
