  1. its very weird situation as the marriage was never registered in the court of law in US or elsewhere.

for this reason,I assume that marriage was never a legal one but a religious state in which Mosque was the place where it started and ended.

and US government ( USCIS) have no way to say they did hide a previous marriage at all. we can consider it as a previous relationship that's all.they have no interest at all to mention that on forms.

wish someone else will help to sort things out better.

    Good Luck

hhh :) it's not a funny thing but really Appreciated ur reaction for help and giving this advice for a better labor.fell sorry for all moms that can't afford to pay for the cost of having their babies in better conditions in private sector.

guess that was in Public Hospital where conditions are most of the time 99% very bad and low to bottom. we are planning to have the baby in Morocco, bcs she will not be able to get on the airplane once she will be 6 months in pregnancy, and as a private Clinic, we expect inch Allah everything to be well.

  4. Hey Everybody,

as a US Citizen expecting a baby to be born abroad Morocco.

My question is. if Anybody had a chance to deal with US Embassy in Morocco for the same matter.file for new Born Passport thru Embassy overseas, specifically Morocco or otherwise any other Embassy of US.how long did the Process took before u get Passport in Hand for the new Born.

already checked about "Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA, or Form FS-240)"

    Thanks.

  5. My Question is, what is the Current total cost for I-130 Cr 1 Visa Fees that US Petitioner has to Pay before Interview in Consulate?

as my Status is File was Approved from USCIS Office in Nebraska.still, NVC didnt receive file yet.just want to be ready for next steps financially and mentally . not to be surprised by something out of the blue.also for anybody has recent experience how long will take before to have Interview date ?

  6. BE PATIENT I can say this for 1000 times when it comes to dealing with US embassy in Casablanca,I had kind of same experience back in 2011 for K1 visa

Officer asked me tooooooo many questions which I answered all of them with great confidence truth is always strong even when u have a weak case.anyway, Immigration Officer returned to me passport and I got AP status .waited for too long 5 months after that when I believedthat its over, they finished there background checks and everything and I received a call from Embassy to bring Passport which everybody know WHY :jest::jest::jest: and got my Visa.

so all depends on how the Interview went down .good Luck

    1.  Only send them what they ask for.

    2.  Yes, you can get multiple RFEs throughout the process.

so why not they will review everything and send one RFE ? and I can understand if a Petitioner will cause another RFE for sending missing documents requested in the initial RFE that will make sense ,but to ask u send this back, then oh and these too in this case it will be a very stupid action from USCIS .

  8. I received a RFE notice from USCIS requesting from me to send them 1Photo Passport type .as Im the petitioner US Citizen .  that was the only thing they asked for.

my Question is should I send any supporting evidence with photo or stick to only what they asked.

I assumed that they already went thru all file and its all what they need.because to me I didnt send first time enough evidence, was expecting they will ask for more photos and extra .......

do u think it can happen for USCIS to have 2 RFE in the same case? like after will send them my Photo they will again say oh we need u to send something else ?

  9. alright will make it clear and simple for u, so u can have some peace of mind.

I just came back from Morocco like 6 weeks ago.I have US Passport and last 2 years I had Moroccan Passport expired.never planned to renew it. the deal is when u entering Morocco as Moroccan u have 2 options us the second nationality ONLY  and then u get 6 months to stay or Moroccan one then u are Home.but if u only have Moroccan ID NUMBER u can give them that number with ur US Passport anytime u coming to visit and they will grant u unlimited time tostay in Morocco ,so dont even bother to spend time and money to renew Moroccan Passport it will serve u no benefit at all .talking to u from personal experience . have ur Moroccn ID number write it on back of Police check paper and u good to go .

How common are big weddings in your culture?  if they are the norm/ if you will seem "odd" for not having one, it could be an issue.  But any such red flag can be overcome with a lot of bonafide relationship proof in other areas- for example, meeting in person often and for long amounts of time.

its kind of important thing to have, lately as Moroccan Culture it seams to have some decrease how couple prefer modest celebration rather than very huge expensive weddings like use to be from middle class or rich even poor did follow that tradition before.so Im thinking that at least will have a nice small celebration event with close family and friends .inch Allah

    Thanks .

  11. I want to be short and precise . in future there will be last stage for getting a CR  - 1 visa after all steps are dealt with is Final Interview for Visa.my question is since me and my wife didn't have a chance to have neither a big or small ceremony to celebrate our marriage .but we planing to have something simple and modest with close family later.after she came to U.S.

so as part of strong proof to have pictures of wedding or celebration for being married at Interview .is this can be a very big issue that we have conceder and maybe work a plan to have sort of party/wedding right before visa interview or it will be ok to argument reason why since by the time we got married and me going back to U.S for work was like 3 months period .

    Thanks

  12. For my personal experience it does matter . Especially if that relative got immigration status thru marriage or k1 fiancée visa.so be prepared to answer any qst.keep in mind this counts only if its a brother or sister if somebody else different last name .so dont worry about .they will treat ur case in regard to paperwork and how u handle interview thats all.

I've got approved after passing the interview in the consulate , and today my status show :

    Administrative Processing

Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.
For more information, please visit U.S. Consulate Casablanca.

Can someone explain me what does it mean i'm confused

    Salam Alikom Brother.

alright need to know if they kept ur passport or was returned to u after u had interview ? if they kept it means the AP will not take longer than few business days before u will be contacted to pick up passport back with visa on it, if they didn't keep passport it might take from 1 month to maybe lets say 6 months.as my case when I had same experience Officer told me Im approved didn't keep my passport and I had to wait like 5 months before I got the magical call from Embassy to come and bring passport .wish u the best but to be optimist good thing they told u that u are approved its a good sign so enjoy ur time very well with family don't stress u will join immigrants forces in U.S very soon inch Allah.

we were sent after 9 months in Missouri to Nebraska for faster service

case there from October till April

never had a case update posted until it was ready for interview

that was the Case status site when case went to NVC

    https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/sxtatus.asp

by the way case number changes to CSBxxxxxxxxxx for Morocco

That means u was never able to check ur case status thru uscis.gov all the time since u filled but till last min u did from us department ? Its little weird with cases in Nebraska office.looke like it willl be a very long football game with overtime hhhhh had some good experience with waiting game dealing with uscis kind of always double time and set expectation down low .

  15. I have a question about how long did take for ppl who filled I -130 to Nebraska office before to be able to check status on uscis.gov ? On email and txt notification says to wait till recieve the receipt on mail before i can check online.which is 2 weeks now after recieved the letter and still LIN number is not known by system yet.called uscis and the agent tried and got same error message.

  16. all u need is to be calm and prepared for worst questions that IO may ask u both and separately just have confidence and everything will go smooth, from my experience the IO was smart straight forward tried to shake us up from begining to see if we really serious about out clams for serious relationship after we passed that was simple questions .saying the truth is always key .answer any question with no extra talking its like job interview .they will already studied ur case and have all questions to ask.for u saying truth of everything is how u will pass.

  17. for my opinion I think if u already have all u need to file ur tax for 2016,why not u go ahead and do? it will show that ur recent financial stat is well established and u are capable of supporting ur fiance to be married . embassy in Morocco is one of hard tough one, not trying to discourage u, but talking from my personal experience .I will file tax for 2016 hands down as long as u do have all necessary documents .
