Oh my Goddddd!!!!!!

Hiiii
so i sent out my docs to NVC on Aug 2nd I believe, but got a REF after 6 weeks, saying that we have to send out my husband's Identification card once more ( although we had already sent it , they requested it again) I sent it and they got it on Oct 4th... now I dont know how long will it take for them to review our docs and let us know about the interview date....

Can you explain more please? Just asking because my birth certificate is from Iran as well. Thanks!
Can you believe that after calling nvc three times today, I don't know myself why they are asking me to send the ' identification card ' again?
they just kept repeating that it says here that you need to send us the identification card
i said that you already have it in my files, the lady said do you want a supervisor to Check it? I said yes please,
i said how long will it take? She said up to 6 weeks
the only doubt that I have is that maybe, they need the new 'shenasname' since when i sent my husband's docs, he didn't have the new one but now he does...

Did everyone receive notification that their documents were received by the NVC? We sent ours and it was received (as UPS delivery confirmed) beginning of July. We did call a week or so later and the NVC said they don't send confirmation of receipt any more.
I went to check on case status and it doesn't say anything about being received, I will call today to check on it!
Oh my Goddddd
we just received a letter from NVC that we have the send my husband's birth certificate one more time
when we were filing, I put it with the other files,
I don't waaant to add another two months to the loneliness and desperate situation that I am in right now 😓😩😭

I received the email at 11:15 pm... my interview is at 9:00 am on Oct 23.
I became documentarily qualified at NVC on August 20th!!
Oh wow! Great! I'm so happy for you!!!! Wish you luck on your way☺️😍
I asked when did you submit, because I sent my package on Aug 1st, I called two weeks later and they said they've received it on Aug 4th, but neither their website is updated nor they have sent me anything, not email nor mail....
so,that's why I was wondering how long does it take for them to tell you that your docs are fine

Hello all,
Does anyone know estimated times for when you are documentarily completed with the NVC and when interviews are scheduled. I know that it all depends on different cases and embassy. We are going to be at the Bogota Embassy in Colombia.
We got the approval of our documents on the 15th of this month. I was told that they schedule interviews at the end of the month, but the letter says it can take up to 3 months to schedule an interview? Is there any way to find this information out?
Thanks,
Daniel
Hi
great now that you say you got your approval on 15 th, when did you submit your docs? Did they mail or email you the approval?
because I submitted our docs on August first and when I called after two weeks to check and see if they have received them, he said they received them on 4th and are working on the interview process
does that mean our docs were accepted?

Hello, did you add police certificate from Iran in your NVC documents? Do they accept it? I am asking because I don't live there but apparently it is required as part of the documents but it is kind of impossible for me to get it. But I am reading in some forums that they dont need it as they cannot verify it. Please let me know if you have any experience or heard something. Thanks a lot
Hi
actually I haven't submitted my NVC's package yet because I'm waiting for my joint sponsor's documents
but my husband has got a police certificate although I heard it's not required from Iran but a good friend of mine told me to get in order not to get a REF

Hii y'all
so i paid for my visa applicant fee on the 4th of july, last tuesday. In the websites kt says to allow a week for them to send the receipt and then fill up the next application.
its been a week and my payment it still in process, the money was taken since last thursday from my bank account, is anybody dealing with this as well?
I called NVC several times, the last person told me to wait 24 hrs more. So i guess i'll check tomorrow
Thank you!!
Hi
dont worry, I paid both the payments on June 30th, the first one showed paid on July 5th and the second IV payment showed paid just today,
so, don't worry 😊

Hello All,
For those that have been approved for a few weeks now, have you called and been able to get your invoice number?
I was approved on April 27th and I know its not been long but I decided to call just to see what would happen. He told me it would most likely be 6 weeks until they would receive it. Would it really take that long? I am so thankful to be approved but now am anxious to keep the ball rolling.
Daniel
We were approved on Apr 6th , but called yesterday and finally received our case number and invoice number (May 5th)
( i had called before on Apr 22nd but they said it hasn't been assigned yet, since we have received your case on 18th, you have wait at least two weeks)

Congrats! Finally the next step!
by the way, do you know whether the case number will be updated anywhere? will they mail it or email it to us or the only way to find out about the case number is to call them?

No news here just yet.. I am curious from the people who have been approved how they found out they were approved.... did you find out through regular mail, uscis app, text notification or email. I hate to say it is exactly 6 months today and we are going crazy waiting like everyone on here.. wow this process makes you extremely impatient.
We got our approval, through App, the website and email...

We included pictures of us and family and friends, boarding passes, proof he is my beneficiary on bank accounts, life insurance and RRSP, proof he's on my health plan at work (even though he's in a different country and can't use them I still have to pay for a family plan), marriage certificate, proof of how many messages back and forth to each other on Facebook -had like 80000 messages, (we use Facebook to call/video chat since it's free), letters from family and friends saying our relationship (all signed by lawyers), newspaper clipping of our wedding announcement. If they request extra evidence I don't know what we would send. We don't have shared bank accounts because with the Canadian dollar being so poor there is no point.
Dont worry, the only pictures we sent were the passport pictures, nothing else, no evidence, nothing, only the required docs they had asked for, and we got our approval after six month,

In other news just found out my wife is pregnant! Yayyy! We are overflowing with joy!
Unfortunately the due date (October 2017) looks like pretty much the absolute worst time as far as her visa processing/traveling is concerned... not sure what to do.
Congratulations!!!! whaaaaaaaaaat a greaaaat news! don't worry, hopefully we'll hear great news next months... it will take just one more month right? since based on visa journey, they are working on Aug 29th cases....

You all should be thankful that your cases are actually gonna be process, my husbands case is part of the seven Muslim countries being banned and trump is expected to sign a new EO this week. This has definetly been stressful.
They cant just tell someone you cant bring your spouse to America,
it might be a harder and probably longer process though

Go here: http://www.mycasetracker.org/index.php?dest=rd
Assuming you’re using Chrome (if not, download it), right click where it says “I-140” and click on inspect. You’ll see a line of code like this: <option value="I140">I140</option>. Change that to
<option value="I130">I130</option>. Then put in your PD and hit Submit. Sometimes data is a little stale. In that event , click on the “Job Submission” button and submit your number rounded up to 100k. Enter 20 blocks and hit submit. Come back and check in a day or two. Hope this helps.
Thank you! thank you so much for all the screenshots, your time and thorough explanation....
its interesting , i hope the data is accurate

Hi everyone,
can anyone help me out, I have a question,
after receiving an interview date , we have received a list of items my husband has to take to the interview and one of the is:
If the petitioner did not file tax returns during the most recent tax year he/she must submit a written explanation about the reason and a copy of the instructions from the Internal Revenue Service publication that shows he/she was not obligated to file tax returns in the US.
which in our case, I didn't file tax last year and with the package, i sent them a letter that i have been supported financially through my husband and dad , therefore i haven't worked and have only studied and done some tutoring all along...
now, i dont know what are they asking me ? what is the "instructions from the Internal Revenue Service publication" ?
has anyone had the same issue? can anyone help me out please?
Thank you so much!
