Ok. Why I asked because when my daughter comes in the summer my husband and I decided not to send her back to Jamaica as well. She is six years old. What I'm wondering if he can file a petition and aos for her when she comes while mine is pending.

@Bronxnyc I started his petition a couple month before he came in the summer. By the time he came they had already approved his immigrant visa and we were planning on moving fwd with consular processing but we realized by the time his interview @ the U.S Embassy in Kingston would come he would've been in the states. So instead of sending him back we just kept him in the states and changed the nature of the petition from consular to AOS within the U.S. You could have her stay for the summer but as soon as she arrives send in her paperwork so that when she gets to her 6 month she doesn't incur any unlawful presence. Do what u need to do "mi nuh kno a who him, a chat a bag a fawt bout fraud!!! KMT". The odds are in your favor.

  2. Thanks everyone. @Bronxnyc the AOS was for my 5 yr old. I already have a greencard which I'll apply to remove conditions for later this year. My son was never put on my petition as he was still living in Jamaica at the time so we did consular processing to Start his petition. Sometime last year my husband and I didn't bother sending him back home after the summer. We enrolled him into school and started to gather our papers to file AOS on his behalf because he had an approved i130. Today as we were leaving the immigration officer advised me that I might have to put my son on my petition to remove conditions. Idk how that's gonna go but I'll figure it out.

  7. @jimjilbangbang yes. I had that status for over a month. From February third. I just noticed the change today to "On March 8, 2017, we scheduled you for your interview and mailed you an interview notice for Receipt Number MSC1790XXXXXX. Your interview is on April 11, 2017. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your interview notice by April 7, 2017, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

  8. Another update!!!  So I went online to USCIS case status site and realized that they scheduled my interview yesterday for April 11, 2017. I didn't notice because I depend on the app to give me alerts. Apparently the app has been lagging in sending out updates.

  10. I'm adjusting from B1. I had contacted my congresswoman's office and cited financial loss. I just sent old bills and a cover letter and they contacted uscis and then my statues got changed. I originally contacted my congresswoman office on the 17th of February and signed the authorization for her to act on my behalf on the 22nd of February and I submitted my cover letter with my bill on the 27th. On March 2nd my local social security admin forked director called me because the congresswoman office contacted them about my ssn. The same evening I got a notification that my card was being produced.
