  2. I'm not sure about your problem. I went onto the site and it seemed like it wanted to let me book. I got to the step where it asked for my name and address, and everything was ok.

I do have my own question about flights, though. I've always booked through expedia, orbitz and websites like that. But they don't handle flights that originate outside the u.s. If I book through royal air maroc, the way the website's designed, I would have to get him separte tickets from new york to san antonio on another carrier's website, which I'm assuming would mean he would have to get his luggage and recheck in at JFK, which may be confusing for someone who's flying for the first time.

What did you guys do when booking flights for your fiance? I'm still not sure, and I'm almost tempted to fly to JFK and meet him there, just to make it a little easier on him!

  3. You Are From Jupiter

You are exuberantly curious - and you love to explore newness.

Enthusiastic and optimistic, you get a kick out of stimulating intellectual discussions.

Foreign cultures and languages fascinate you. You love the outdoors, animals, and freedom.

Chances are you tend to exaggerate, so try to keep a lid on that.

If you do, you'll continue to be known for your confidence, generosity, and sense of justice.

  5. I just remembered her husband (fiance's dad) owns land. An olive grove. He's still alive, they're still married. Plus there are grandchildren and a household to take care of (they don't own the house though), that she would need to return to. So maybe it wouldn't be so hard after all. I forgot about that property. I wonder how long it would take though. Could we actually hold on to a dream that she could be here for the big ceremony that will be several months away? Or would that be hoping to much? What do y'all thinK?

  6. Called NVC, they dont have the file. Calles CSC, was transferred to a contractor who told me there was nothing she could do.I told her in a nice way to kiss my ###.

Have you called them to try to find out why it's taking so long?

Maybe the "petition" would clear out if you stopped changing your fiance. First you were in love int he Ukraine, then you were in love in Mozambique and not you are in love in Uzbekistan. All with the same fiance visa.

Dammit, you beat me to it!! I was just gonna say the same thing! :goofy:

  7. Does anyone have any experience trying to get family members of spouses/fiances over for a visit? We'd like them to visit eventually, I'm not sure what the requirements are or how long the process for that would take. Any info would help. Christine, I think you are in the process of doing this, so maybe you have some insight. Thanks! :luv:

  8. He has his medical Wednesday. I was hoping he could get another packet while there. He said he would go over there and see, just in case? We'll see how far that goes! uffffffffffffff. Inchallah everything will work out. It's just a little frustrating.

    Liz,

It's not unheard of people picking up their packets after it got "misplaced" by the Moroccan post. Did you ask Casa via email if this was possible? They usually are more proactive via email since they "don't get paid enough" to deal with us on the phone. I hope all goes well.

    Christine :luv:

I was just about to write another complaint about Casa, and was actually about two paragraphs into it, when casa emailed me back! Thank god! He can go and pick it up! :D Ok, I can quit my bitching now! :)
