Anyone knows what is the latest and greatest case that has been approved from Nebraska besides VJ's timeline? I know some folks are tracking using certain apps on phones, so just wondering if any news from there.

    Hi,

Here's cases so far for today according to my App

Nov 17 PD - Case was Received to Case Was Sent to the Department of State

Nov 23 PD - Case was Received to Request for Evidence

There was also one Nov 14 PD - Case was Approved to Case Sent to the Department of State

AJLove that's not how it's read. USCIS publishes data around the 15th of every month providing details on the applications that it was last processing and there is a buffer of 45 days to validate the data and then publish it. The bottom date says the date the page was last updated.

When I called once I was told I need to go by the date at the bottom of the page which shows when it was last updated. That was last month when it still said Oct 31. I then asked well if that is correct how come November cases are being approved? There was a pause and the rep thought about it lol. Then she says, oh well all I can tell you is you need to go by the date at the bottom of the page. <_<

Honestly am not sure but think my lawyer didn't sent that in or if she did USCIS lost it.

    yiu haven't getting approved yet?

if so what is your pd?

No, I am at 7 months as of today. My PD is Dec 12, 2016 so I know I have a while to go. However, I follow this thread to try and get an idea of where Nebraska is at as far as approvals.

I hope you receive good news about your case soon.

G-335A and both my husband and I passport photo. They normail take 30-60 days.

    thanks

Can I ask what specifically was wrong with your G-325A? I ask because on mine, silly me forgot to print my name on the very bottom section of the form in the rectangular field that says "Print your name here" I accidentally left mine blank. I have been worried it will cause an RFE. I posted about it here before and some people said RFE, others said probably not a big deal as long as the form was signed.

I just finished updating the Consulate/Embassy page...its was over years old and very outdated. I replaced the old links, phone numbers, address, and various amounts of old information.

If anything is not working or misstated feel free to fix it yourself or send me a message.

I am going to try to update the "AFTER THE NOA2" page (link below). It will take sometime....I know a good amount of things have changed so if anyone wants to send me some recent changes, feel free to do so.

    Thanks in advance.

    Thank you :)

Everyone seems to give different information at uscis. Don't know why. I'm at 296 days now. Expedite we never got the response they claim they sent. Senator didn't work, case enquiry either. Transfer made it worse, it was better we remained at Nebraska

I'm sorry you're going through this. If I were your hubby I'd just keep calling and stay on them about it as your case is beyond normal processing time. I am thinking of cancelling the expedite request next week and just waiting it out as they seem to be moving, just not fast enough. And yes the agents all say something different. So it's hard to tell what's accurate and what's not. It's so frustrating

I am the one who made that statement. Both USCIS and the senator said the same thing to my husband. Making calls, senator reviews an enquiry request cause a delay in your case. If u go on fb there is a gentleman by the nAmerican of Brian Cox who has a group K1/cr1/ir1. He also mentioned that once u do a case enquiry an get congress it does push your case back 60 days

I don't know if that's true but, when I called my senators office to inquire on the status I was told due to the backlog at the service centers it can take 6-8 weeks for them to receive a response from uscis, not that it adds that much additional time. My expedite request which was made on June 20 hasn't even been assigned. The person I spoke with after you originally posted it causes a delay told Me that's not true, his exact words were that's crazy, and explained in detail what happens when inquiries are logged, if an expedite is not approved etc. I know people who call everyday and it didn't delay anything.

So basically if you call while your within the normal processing time u get pushed back 60 days?! And the same thing if your over the normal processing times too?

No, as MaryLou said this is not true. One member was told by someone with USCIS I believe, since a service request and inquiry via the senator was made that caused an additional backlog on their case. However, I don't think that's true either. I made an inquiry via my senator also which I'm awaiting a response so when the poster put they were told that causes additional delay I called Uscis. I was told it does not add on additional time. However, the uscis reps say all kinds of stuff. Hard to tell what's true or not. But no calling to inquire doesn't cause delays.

Does filling out a case inquiry form help as had that in mind and what's the response time?

In my experience, it will only allow you to submit one if your case if outside of normal processing range. Every time I have tried to submit the report I get a message stating I am within the normal time range and that a case number may or may not be generated which means, one has not been. According to the USCIS site, Nebraska is currently processing cases as of October 31, 2016. However, we know that is not true because November filers here have been getting approved. You can try calling but, they probably won't offer much help. As far as the response time for the service request I am not too sure of that.

I just browsed your timeline. You should be hearing something soon. Also according to VJ your case should be adjudicated between June 29, 2017 and July 12, 2017. That's just an estimate. For some it's been spot on, others have been waiting far beyond the estimated dates. However, it gives a little hope. :)

They are not moving proper lol

My husband called Nebraska yesterday because our case is at begin of November, still didn't hear anything and then woman said they still didn't finish whole October month so to not worry about no order in accepting . At the end he asked from her to write request for expedite for K3 visa (we applied for it too after i130) and she said we should get response on request in 5 to 7 days , but if they are super busy it can take a month the most....so we will see....I will let you all know if we get response on that any time soon, or on i130 of course :)

You are right, they are not moving proper lol. I was told that they were still working on October when I called last month. However, I have been seeing November approvals on the app and here. I requested an expedite on my on my I130 and was also told response in 5-7 days. The request was logged 6/20 and it still shows "not assigned." When I called to inquire I was told it takes 10 days max, which it is long over that time too. I think I am just going to leave well enough alone right now and wait and see what happens in the next couple of weeks before I call again. Afterall, my PD is in Dec so I know there are still many ahead of me.

I hope you hear some good news soon.

I did that and it has not update

Hmmm, I just did some digging around on the app and maybe I am mistaken. Try this:

Click on the settings tab and scroll to the bottom. Under Notifications there are different options. One is "Case Status Notifications"

You must turn that option on. Then at the very bottom it gives more options:

Check 2 times a day or Check 4 times a day

If you haven't done those steps already try that.

What app are you using cause mind is not showing that. This is the app I have.

    Screenshot_20170706-122348.png

This one...Click on the bell and set your settings for "Real Time Updates"

Then every time a case similar to yours is approved, you will receive a notification. However, you must enter your case number and set your notification criteria.
