    Thanks for the answer.Am considering using them, but did not know anyone using them,hence the question.Their site has bandwith tests aand my connection passed.How are they on customer service?I hear they outsource to India to some rude guys?

    As much as I hate to "feed the troll," I'm going to answer.

    Yes, I have Vonage and with it (not to sound like one of the commercials), I get free calling anywhere in the United States, Canada, and to select countries in Europe. The downside is that you need a fast high-speed Internet connection for it, and it eats up bandwidth like a fiend, so it's not recommended that you do anything intensive (i.e. downloading or uploading files, IM chatting, etc) while using it as the call quality could degrade.

    If you have any REAL questions about Vonage, just ask. I've been using them for over a year now. :)

    You have until April 17th to file taxes this year.Give it some more time, and call them if by the end of this month you have not received. By law, W-2s should be MAILED by the last day of January each year.Because of delay in the postal process,a slight delay is normal.

    Not to hijack the thread, but a quick tax-related question....

    My husband has not received W2's yet from his two former employers. Has the deadline passed? Does this mean that we need to contact the employers directly? Or is there some other way to get them (ie. I would prefer to not have to contact them for personal reasons)?

    The better idea is to separate VJ between men and women.Let us try it for some time.We will have a tool to detect people who claim to be of the opposite sex to ensure there is no infiltration across genders.

    If one tries to go to the board side of the opposite gender a message will pop up saying "sorry you do not belong to this gender; a sex change will be needed if you want to visit this part of the board. Please visit the Phillipines section of the site to get a quote for this surgical procedure".

    With all due respect, why dont you go and start a new site and moderate it and have all the rules in the world, using the vast experience? VJ will not allow foreign moderators to perform a coup here.You either respect the VJ rules or you show us your back.

    Mostly responding to Gupt (and before your edit). But moderation isn't going to make ME/NA nice. It may mean the nastier threads get locked faster (not a bad idea), but it's not going to stop people being nasty, or deciding to derail threads to snipe at each other, and ime having moderated other boards, a heavy hand just drives the nastiness where the mods can get to it (into avatars, signature lines, and into PMs), which only increases the cliquishness.

    Extra moderation takes some of the work off of Ewok, but it's not going to make the newbies feel welcome.

    I've got years of board moderation experience too, and I know that the nastiness and divisiveness can be controled thru moderation. I've done it. It doesn't require a heavy hand, but it does require direct communication that certain things will not be tolerated and a consistancy in applying the rules. Consistancy is hard to come by and communication cut short when there aren't enough moderators, or they are spread too thin.

    Thank you for all the comments, still waiting for a serious answer.

    At this point, pills seem to be top ranked; I will check with the doctor, but I did not know whether there is over the counter pills for this purpose, so we dont have to fill prescriptions all the time.

    Clipping is out of the question as are condoms.Clipping is too permanent (I would need shears or secateurs if I were to go this route) and condoms are like eating candy wrapped in paper.I prefer meat on meat action.

    Keep the real advice flowing into me(no pun intended).

    Not ready for kids. Which is the best and lowest long term risk method for a female to avoid getting pregnant while 'doing it' like a healthy rat(that is, on demand)?

    Your case is in administrative processing, which means they are doing background and security checks on you. Once your name clears in the US security systems, you will be called and sked to bring your passport so they can put a visa in there.Patience will be your best route at this point.

    I called the embassy again this morning, the lady on the phone checked my file and said this:

    We are still waiting for an answer from the United States for a verification, we did not recieve that yet,

    so we can not give you your visa.

    What are they talking about here? What kind of verification could take 15 days after i have my NOA2 and good interview?

    I ask her, is it still possible I DONT get my visa? She said YES, as long as we don't get verification.

    Then she told me not to call back, they will call me back when they have the verification.

    I worry I won't be able to leave 6th of March. I should have to leave then because my wedding is on april 14th and

    there's so much to do, like look to all the appartments so we have an appartment by the time we get married.

    We have this whole nice wedding planned, with family flying over and everything ... and my family starts to

    express concern they wont be able to come if i can't confirm to them ! Also my dad is beiing mad at me :(

    I want to know what I can do ... what kind of verification, and is there any way I can speed that up?
