So bottomline is that even kids pay for the visas,correct? I thought they should not pay because they are issued visas as 'following to join' which means that their visas are tied to the parents' visa. What is the reason they are paying for visas?

My fiance, Charles, who lives in Haiti finally got his interview date. It is set for December 21st which is a miracle because at first they gave the date January 29th because they are so busy this time of year. I was so upset I called the embassy in Haiti and talked to them and to my surprise they were willing to change the date so he could be here in time for Christmas! I am so excited! I know it is because of prayer and my faith in God. So please pray for us that everything will work out with the interview so he can be here for Christmas.

Also I was wondering if anyone knows of any possible interview questions so we can be more prepared. Let me know!

Was just wondering whether if the K-1 beneficiary has progenies who will accompany her on K-2 visas, do those progenies have to pay for visa issuance or is it just the K-1 who pays for visa fees which I think are $100 per applicant.

Thanks for the semi-apology. I have not decided on what to do. This board is annonymous so I am not trying to humiliate or berate her. I have also noted my mistakes in the relationship as well. If I was cruel I would just enjoy myself with her and walk away. But I love her sincerely. That is why I started this process in the first place. And this is why I agonize over this decision. The child does not legally exist until it is born. This means that the child has no name until born, so you better wait for the child to come out,get a name and then include them in the stage your paperwork will have reached at that point.

On another note, if this child does not belong to you, how long have you known each other? Did she go making babies when you still knew each other? It appears the pregnancy is less than 6 months, so do you mean the baby was made less than 6 months ago by someone else other than you and you claim to have a rship? If so, I would question the validity of your relationship and hence maybe not entitled to a K-1 visa.

This has been answered before. Aussiewench had her first born when she was 4 years old. She is around 33 years old at this point (in 2006).

I too left my children behind but they were 19, 21, 27 & 29. If they had been your childrens ages, there is no way I could of done it. I would of expected my fiance to move to me and if not, regardless of how much I loved my now husband, I would of abandoned the relationship. I miss my grandchildren enough as it is
