Have to check the wait times for you local office. My wife passed her test on March 16th, Oath ceremony 3 weeks later on April 6th. Las Vegas, NV office seems to be averaging 3 weeks.

She was lucky. We are planning a vacation abroad, but we have to wait for this ceremony now. There was an oath ceremony in our town last week, but they didn't send us anything. I don't know when is the next ceremony in our town? How long more we goanna wait? It is frustrating.

Per the image, OP's wife applied in December and USCIS approved AP in April.

USPS attempted to deliver it after she moved. But this is not an expedite or emergency reason (in itself): https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/travel-documents/emergency-travel

Yes but after we moved we changed our address on Uscis website and did send request 2 times. We got letter from uscis after we did send request saying that please allow us 60 days to send her work permit.it's over 90 days she still didn't get it.We called again a few days ago I talked to tier2 , she said she will send a e mail to office where her work permit is and we may receive it in 45 days.So we they didn't do anything over 3 months now we need to wait another 45 days.

She needs the AP card. It should look similar to EAD or EAD/AP card. On it there should be language like: "serves as I-512 Advance Parole". If that's what she has, she should be okay to travel as long as she can come back on time for the interview. The chances of refusal of entry are about the same as with the GC. Only USCs have guaranteed entry.

Can we go to Uscis and get the Advance parole so she can go and come back safely.Thank you

I honestly would like to see what document he has too.  Because his first posts are confusing. In hist first post he says he did not get the work permit and then that wife did not get her Advance Parole either, to later say that they do have the travel document.

OP.  Did you receive the AP in the mail? Or, you are talking about the I-131 form that you filled out?

Can you upload the picture of what you have? Removing all personal information of course.

If she did not receive the AP in the mail, then she should not travel out of the country until AP or green Card in hand. Simple as that.

Just to note, even with a green card you are not guaranteed entry to the United States, only US citizens are Guaranteed entry. It may be guaranteed entry in a pair of handcuffs, but it is guaranteed entry. I don't know that the green card carries more weight than AP or not, but since you would then be an LPR I think it would look better.

We will travel together. We are from same country and same town.We will take all documents with us.But like I said we visit UScis office first.

OP,  your post is not clear. First you say she did not get EAD because you moved. Then you said she has her I-131 travel form.  How did she get that without EAD?  In most cases you are sent a combo card for EAD and AP. If you are not sure what she has and her interview is scheduled for next month, it would be wise to stay here until she receives her green card.

This what we don't understand except work permit she got other mails.Usps sent back only work permit to the Uscis. So we will go to the local office this week and be sure.If they say there is a risk we won't leave the country.

That is AP. Then she is permitted to travel. Be sure to carry her passport + valid AP document, marriage certificate (especially if there was a change in name), and a copy of the I-485's NOA1 is suggest as well.

No entry is guaranteed. If the interview occurs while she is abroad, or the I-485 is denied for any other reason, she won't be able to return. there is a risk, albeit a very low one.

We called Uscis and talked to Tier 2.They told us the same thing.even if she has I 131 travel document no entry guaranteed. So she better wait till she gets her green card.We can't go all through again. It's very stressful process.

  8. Hello everybody.hope there is some people to.help us here.My wife is the applicant. It was April they sent her work permit while we moved to Florida.that time Uscis sent her work permit. But post office sent her work permit back to Uscis because we were in different state and couldn't find us at previous address. After we moved I did address change and called uscis and did sr in June also July.It has been 3 months they still didn't send it yet.My question is She needs to go to her country next week. She doesn't have green card and work permit .Her interview is next month. What's your suggestion.Shall we visit local Uscis office, is there a way she can go and come back to Usa.What is your advice.Thank you
