It also took 2 months for us to get my husband's green card after his interview/approval. No explanation. Same thing happened for his EAD. We did receive the approval letters first, then the cards came 2 months later. It was frustrating. Glad you got yours finally.
Thank you! Yes very frustrating. I wonder how important is thr approval letter? We got i130 approval letter but nothing for i485. Just wondering if not having it will cause any issues for ROC.

Ugh... I485 status has been stuck in "card is being produced" since 10/11 which was the day of our interview. I was finally able to place a SR for non delivery of the card on 12/12, they said I was approved the same day card went into production but never receiver an approval letter or GC! Now they want me to wait 30 more days for GC and submit a form to receive a copy of approval letter (with a $475 filling fee)!!!
Have good news today! I received my GC in the mail with 10/11 date. Still no approval letter, but happy to have my GC on hand!!!!

Ouch - there must be something you can do. What about an infopass?
Went to infopass a couple weeks ago and the officer said my case was still pending. Didn't look like she was very knowledgeable as she didn't even know my combo card was for both EAD and AP.
I think I'll just contact my local congressman if nothing happens by first week of January!

Bad news here... card has been "in production" since October 11 (our interview date). Had an infopass appt today and the officer said we haven't been approved yet and must've been a system glitch. Her side showed I485 still under review

Anyone experienced getting "new card is being produced" for I485 update online but no approval letter and no card mailed for over 3 weeks? Starting to get worried.

I'm finally able to post on the thread again... VJ wasn't letting me add a reply! We had our interview on october 11th and it went well but no decision on the spot...
October 16th: approval letter for I130
October 17th: app updated I130 approved and I485 new card is being produced (with October 11 dates)Card still hasn't been mailed even though it has been in production for 12 days... I called and they said production could take up to 60 days!!! Ugh

Yes try a translation company or a friend who knows both language that can certify for you.
I got a RFIE because of the translation doesn't show any certification and I sent back with a certified translation from a online translation company.
What company did you use?

Yeah it was in the mail today, so I saw it came from USCIS local office.
The letter is addressed to me (applicant) and is asking me to bring my identification and bona fide marriage evidence to the interview... basically the same stuff that was on the interview notice?!
I don't get it. Maybe the local office received my file with missing info... I sent all of that in the original package.
I am thinking maybe it could be releated to my birth certificate translation? I translated it myself and didn't have it certified. Anyone has tips on this? Thinking of getting certified translation with one of these online companies.

That's a little odd so short before the interview. No matter what it is, I'd still attend the interview date unless the coming letter is a cancellation letter.
Just out of curiosity, how can you see what letters they sent? The only thing I can do with informed delivery is see what mail will be delivered today. I can't see anything in advance.

Green Card approved. My Case Status updated less than 2 hours later to card production.
Ours was because the vaccinations were in question, but we alleviated that by resubmitting a sheet of paper.
She said that it is sometimes sent out to inform you IF you go over a year.
The lady we had Ms Harrison was very friendly. (She was the supervisor)
Not really much in the way of questions and such, just going over our forms making sure they were filled out the same still.
Took no longer than 30 minutes.
For the Fresno couple - don't park at the parking meters. 2 hours max wait. We were in there for 2.5 hours ish and got ticketed. And its a pain to walk out and back in.
Congratulations!!!! 🎊 Thanks for the heads up. We'll park somewhere else.

Yes
They are referring to the applicant only, right? Not the USC?

Tampa, Florida here... anyone heard of USCIS moving or cancelling upcoming interview dates because of IRMA? We have a date coming up on the 28th.
When you got your interview notice, did you receive a second page with instructions on what to bring if you were ever arrested?

Got mine today too. Did you get a second page stating the documents the applicant has to bring if they were ever arrested?

I did update mine 2 weeks ago using my EAD. Changed my maiden name on the social to my married name and had the restrictions lifted.
By restrictions lifted you mean remove the "valid for work only with authorization by DHS"? Can you do that with EAD? I didn't mention anything because I thought they would lift conditions only with GC.
nvm... just read the following posts!

Finally my status changed today from "ready to be scheduled..." to "interview is scheduled for September 26."
I'm in the LA field office. Does anybody has experience with it already ? Thank you.
Can you share when your status updated to ready to schedule and when did you file? Thanks

We have EAD/AP card, but still waiting on an interview for AOS. "Ready for interview to be scheduled" for 98 days. Can't wait to hit that 100 day mark, woohoooo!
Oh well. Patience.
Same here but at 97 days. I made an infopass appointment but not sure if I should go. I guess we just need to wait.

Still waiting for an interview date here. It's been 74 days since it changed to "ready to be scheduled for an interview" and still nothing. Already got my EAD and AP.
I'm in NY on an H1B. Anyone else on the same boat?
Same here but it has been 84 days. Fresno, CA office adjusting from F1.

Decided to give USCIS a call to see if they have any news about my I-485. They said my case still hasn't been transferred to my local office, so all I can do is keep waiting and hope for an interview waiver since the NYC office is so massively backlogged. But I assume that if an interview would be required, my case would have been transferred already. So here's to hoping for an interview waiver letter soon.
Did you talk to tier 2 or just regular rep?

New card produced -> Case was approved -> Card was mailed to me
That's how it was for me. The average time seems to be about a week from new card produced to card in hand.
37 minutes ago, PinkCandy said:No. It becomes "We mailed your new card for receipt number......" and then it remains like that.
You'll only get the approval status on the paper that they will mail to you.28 minutes ago, KimberleyVDB said:Card is being produced -> Card Mailed
that's how it was for me. Produced was on 7/7/2017 and mailed on 07/11/2017. I had it in hand on 07/14/2017
Thanks all. I should receive my card by end of this week then!!! What a stressful wait.

Silly question.. does I765 status change to case was approved after new card is being produced? Or does it change straight to card was mailed? So anxious to have my card on hand!!!

Anybody has had updates from California Service Center? Case was received July 15th and no updates since.
I placed a couple SR’s but response is within processing time.
