None of my prayers were left unanswered. 4 months in total from filing to approval for both our K1 visa application and AOS.

K1 VISA TIMELINE

September 23, 2016 - Packet sent to USCIS via USPS
September 26, 2016 - 10:55AM delivered to Dallas, TX
September 28, 2016 - Received an e-mail confirming that they received the packet. Case routed to California Service Center.
October 5, 2016 - Received the written NOA1. 
October 21, 2016 - Case was approved (USCIS website)
October 28, 2016 - Received NOA2 via mail
Nov 17, 2016 - Called NVC and got case # and Invoice ID #
Nov 19, 2016 - Case status changed from At NVC to In Transit
Nov 26, 2016 - Case status changed from In Transit to Ready
December 21, 2016 - Packet 3 Received
December 27, 2016 - Filled out DS-160; electronically signed and submitted to CEAC.
- scheduled an appointment for both medical and interview. Visa fee paid (973dhms/$265)
January 7, 2017 - Medical Exam, 8am - PASSED!
January 25, 2017 - Interview, 8am - APPROVED!!!
January 30 l, 2017- VISA ON HAND!

Total Time: 4 months from filing to approval

May 6, 2017 - Biometrics Appointment Letter Received
May 18, 2017 - Biometrics done
June 1, 2017 - Case Ready to be Scheduled for Interview
July 21, 2017 - Interview is Scheduled for August 28
July 27, 2017 - Interview Notice received (Hardcopy)
July 29, 2017 - New Card is being Produced (EAD)
August 2, 2017 - Card Was Mailed to Me (EAD)
August 2, 2017 - NOA2 Hardcopies for EAD and AP received
August 3, 2017- Combocard on Hand
August 28, 2017- Interview - APPROVED!

July 21 - Interview is Scheduled for August 28
