From my list, i saw three Nov 28, 2016 cases get approved Nov. 15, 2017.

I saw one Nov. 28, 2016 get approved November 14, 2017.  Getting my hopes up once again though it is really soooooo sloooooooooow.......

I believe they generate those emails just to shut us up. I got email Nov 6 saying my case is being reviewed by a officer.

Yup, B1/B2 visa which I already had before applying for the I130.  No questions asked at the airport except if I was the mom of the young girl, as I travelled with my daughter.

We're just two days apart, Sundee. I can't wait 'til all of this is over.

In 18 days, we would already have waited for ONE YEAR to hear from Nebraska. I am here in the USA with my husband for a very brief visit but have to go home to my country this weekend.  Sad to leave him!

My case inquiry got a response last Nov 7, saying we are in line for an officer to review our case. We have been in line for 347 days, for goodness' sake!

We're almost close to one year waiting for our NOA 2.  

Nothing done thru the congressman's office, except for them to inquire and get the same answers as we did on our own.

USCIS said they sent a reply to our online inquiry last Oct 17, haven't gotten one thru the mail.

So frustrating especially since while tracking other NOA 1s of Nov 28, 2016, I came across a few who got their approvals less than one month after!

My daughter and I came in last night thru JFK. No questions asked. Traveling on B1/B2 while I-130 has been pending for almost a year now.

case was at Nebraska and got transferred to Potomac February 2017

I'll get the letter by the end of the week and most likely it will be a bunch of BS asking us to wait for 60 days.

PD 29-Nov-2016

I put in a service request too and was told to expect a response by Oct 10. Today, on the USCIS website, they said that they "sent" a response to this request. Nothing on my email, not sure if it meant "by mail".

I met today with a man who actually cares. I provided him info regarding lack of process going on in Nebraska so hope to see some type of action.

It's probably just an excuse to bypass your file to keep up with processing times. That entire service center is a joke. The way they treat people when you call. How long it takes to get your file looked at. Someone at the end of Jan will get approved before someone in mid Dec. I am going to be so elated once my file can get out of that place. I personally think anyone getting approved in Nebraska should have their files expedited at the consulate stage to make up for their huge delays.

We filed the I-129f because it was still there in the USCIS website (though the forums say it is obsolete) and because it was free to do so and we had the documentation anyway.  I agree that we should ask for an expedite at the NVC and consulate stage.

The sad thing is, I was so worried we'd get an RFE or an approval via mail while we are on two months and a half vacation, and this was way back in June. Turned out there was nothing to worry about as we're empty-handed until now.  I really do hope we get the approval while we're together in NY.  Thanks!

I am starting to wonder if there is a worker at Nebraska who has a number of cases sitting on his/her desk (are they on sick leave or something?). It's ridiculous as it is that it's taking upwards of 9-10 months for the average case to be approved at NSC. Pretty soon it's going to be a freaking year for many of you! I was thinking, since we filed both I-130 and I-129f, that our files were thicker than the others so no one wants to touch it . I hope the cases would be dealt with in chronological order and strictly within a timeframe.  That would make the waiting more bearable because there is a semblance of order.  Though I am happy that others get approvals faster, it pains me that we are being bypassed big time and our  case is still unassigned after

Oh no. Hope we don't get an RFE. It's not good when you've been waiting for almost a year and then you have to wait some more because of an RFE,  If you don't mind, what did they ask you for?

Here is the USCIS response to the Congressman's inquiry about our case :

This email is in response to the inquiry regarding Mr. XXXX Forms I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, and Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), which were filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on November 28, 2016.  USCIS records indicate that your constituent’s Form I-130/I-129F cases are pending assignment to an officer at the NSC.  These cases are being worked in the order it was received.  As indicated on the USCIS Website, the estimated processing time for Forms I-130/I-129F at the NSC is cases received prior to December 9, 2016.  However, the average amount of time for Form I-130/I-129F processing at the NSC may extend beyond the estimated processing time posted on the USCIS Website.  Please note that estimated processing times are processing goals and not a guarantee that applications will be processed within the estimated timeframe.  At this time, we are unable to determine when your constituent’s Form I-130/I-129F cases will be assigned to an officer for adjudication at the NSC.  If your constituent does not receive a decision or other notice of action within 45 days, you may contact us for an update.

We all know that the cases are not being worked in the order it was received, as they claim.  Also, this reply came in today, when USCIS promised the Congressman's office an Oct. 3 reply.  I have also filed an online inquiry and they said I should hear from them on the 10th so am hoping to hear from them today, yesterday being a holiday.

I am visiting my husband in two weeks time so we can spend our anniversary together, and I am hoping there would not be any problem with our B1/B2 visa (traveling with my daughter).  I really do hope they get done with the November filers this month.

It's truly said to get an RFE almost one year after submission. More weeks/months added to the process. And to think that during the one year wait, a lot of things have already happened to the marriage, more proof that it is legit.
