  1. Hello everyone, sharing great news from NYC!  I had my interview yesterday morning at the USCIS Brooklyn Field Office and my application was approved. I was there from 8am to 9am, waited to be called for about 20 minutes. The civics, reading and writing tests were a breeze while more time was spent going over my employment history, personal info and travels outside the US.  IO asked if I brought documents showing husband and I have lived together since the marriage but I only had the joint filing tax transcripts and mentioned all the evidences I uploaded during the application. She spent some time reviewing those electronic files.

I am waiting to hear about my schedule for the oath ceremony, do you have any idea how long it takes from approval to the oath taking? Also, feel free to ask me questions about my journey, in case I can assist.  The VJ community has been a tremendous help since we started with the I-130, my sincere gratitude to everyone here! Good luck to those who are still waiting for interview schedules, I hope it happens soon!

Hi Ella, did you receive your letter?  Where was your case transferred to?  I'm also Vermont and received a similar email today. On checking other cases, it seems they just selected a small batch for transfer.  Case numbers ending 42 to 47 were transferred today. I'll post an update when I receive the letter

Yes, I got the letter. I was transferred to the National Benefits Center.  Still no updates since then.

    Good evening, All.

I just received my transfer letter today after the status update online last week Wednesday. I find it weird that they transferred my case from the Texas Service Center ( apparently the fastest one currently ) to the NBC. We had an interview for the AOS and have not filed tor the N-400. Is anyone else in the same situation?

I was transferred to NBC from Vermont last Oct 29, got the letter today. I have a CR-1 visa, did biometrics and is still a few months away from N-400 eligibility. I am not sure what to expect next, still looking for more info online.

    Hello March Filers!

I got an update in my case that 'New Card Is Being Produced' which I assume means I751 is approved and new card will be sent.

Just want to share the good news and seems it was really fast to get this approval in just about 2 months. Anyone else got approved recently?

Congratulations!!!! Great news in the time of Covid-19.  I wish more of us will have the same speedy approval as you.

I do not know what's happening with my case but most of the case numbers before and after mine were already updated to fingerprints taken. I had my biometrics taken at an embassy a little more than 2 years ago, would that be the reason why they're not using my fingerprints on file?

My window opened at the beginning of this month but I've been waiting for my tax returns transcripts for this year to show up in the IRS portal so I can print and include it in my package. I'm hurrying it up right now because with everything going on, I'm afraid the USCIS office in Texas might close or stop sending NOA letters out. We are really in an unprecedented time.

I sent our IRS tax transcripts for 2017 and 2018, and the entire tax return for 2019 as I couldn't wait.  I hope that's okay!

Hello!  Joining this topic as we sent our packet today!

Hope everyone's in the best of health and spirits during this uncertain time.  Here's a little update on my submission :

March 17, 2020 - Sent packet to Lewisville, TX lockbox

    March 19, 2020 - Received at USCIS

March 24, 2020 - Saw that there is a pending charge for the USCIS fee on my credit card

I am heaving a sigh of relief especially after seeing that some of your submissions were returned due to an outdated form.  Wishing you the best and hope you won't have any (none of your fault) glitches this time.

I haven't received a notification from USCIS at all.
