I had my interview two years ago in the London embassy. be prepared for a line outside, then you have to go through a scanning booth, there were two on either side. My friend came with me and held my bags outside, while I took my paperwork only with me. You can take your phone in with you I did. It was all rather pleasant and fast, I read some awful things, but I was quite happy with my experience. I got called up with my ticket to provide my documents and ACRO, and then was told to wait again in the seating area, then about ten mins later I was called up and had my interview by a charming American who asked me a few questions, at the same time he looked through my paperwork, and then after a few questions smiled at me and said I'm pleased to tell you your approved for your fiancé visa. He asked me if I had paid a courier fee which I did and said my passport would take around a week to be returned back to me. It was such a relief and a GOOD experience so good luck with your interview !. (this was the old embassy I believe they have a new one now). Also I booked a return ticket saving over 300 pounds, my POE was Chicago O Hare, again that was a lovely experience to

mine went from AP to ready and back and forth a few time to issued. It just means that they are working on it. Did they tell you that you had been approved and keep your passport ? if so Hold tight you will see issued soon.

with regard to k1 for same sex marriage and trump, once you are legally married the law cannot be reversed, congress does not have the power to do this neither does the president. American law states once a marriage is entered legally it cannot be nullified or reversed. Despite all the panic and hysteria, also if they try to get the Supreme Court to overturn marriage they it will takes years and years, even if the court decide to listen to the arguments. The empty seat on the Supreme Court which is vacant was anti gay, so even if they fill with another anti gay justice it will have little or no effect. Don't worry about anything, and find out the facts away from tv news. Im not a trump supporter for the record, I just wonder for the future of America

we changed our name to double barreled , my original ss card was in my last surname, but after I got all my paperwork EG EAD and Greencard they changed my name on the SS no problem

after my visa was approved, I checked the site and it went in AP, a few times then went to approved and issued. Its a good sign.

Im in a same sex marriage, and from my interview in London, they didn't ask me very personal questions, just the normal things they ask everybody. I did feel that they were a little more delicate with the questions with me, the embassy was very professional and tactful

I bought a return ticket to come over on my K1 Visa I saved nearly 400 pounds. Nobody said anything to me my port of entry was O hare Chicago. My ticket was non refundable. I was just happy to be with my Fiancé .

Hello im mark and my husband is nathan. Im from the UK, Wales and Nathan is American. Im on my green card here, we did everything ourselves I will fill in my timeline in my signature ? I think thats how you do it anyway saying a big hello to all of you !
