    Hi, My wife who is a naturalized US citizen submitted the I-130 for her adult son on 26 Jan 2023 and its gone quiet. How long should we expect to wait for this? Thanks for any help and guidance you can offer.

    With the current state of immigration I'm losing hope of this ever progressing.

    I'm in much the same position - also filed for my adult unmarried stepson in Jan 2023 and the online status is the same as yours. Most of the participants here are for spouses which has much shorter processing time compared to an adult child - for an adult child it takes a few years and there isn't much you can do about that.
