  1. Totally just seeing this Maria! Thank you so much for your help...like always. I think I need to contact you directly as you are the only one that answers any of my inquiries.

I have requested from my job, a letter for years 2014 through now (all separate) detailing who I am and how much I have made each year. I will then have them translated (even-though translations aren't needed at the interview if in English or official language of that country) and on the line that states income. I will put the closest thing to the conversion to dollars. My salary has never changed since I started here, so they will see that each year I was under the required amount to do taxes. I will also write the letter as you suggest, detailing all of this. I do not get a pay stub. The Pagadora transfers the same amount to my bank account every 2 weeks. I can print out as many of those as I can. Maybe I will stat now since I can only go back so far.

You're a doll... and I so appreciate your help. Btw... I knew I would never receive the NOA1. It's been 4 weeks. I will call USCIS on Monday at they said to call after March 11th if nothing is received. I hope I can give a backup address for the NOA2.

  2. I, the USC, have been living and working in Mexico since 2010. I earn a peso salary (local currency for a Mexican company) and will be using my father as the co sponsor when the time comes. We are still waiting for the NOA1, but because of my situation I want to start filling out this form so I make sure I have everything I need to pass to my fiancé for the interview. PLEASE, if anyone has been in the same situation as me, can help me fill out the details, or what I need to get from my employer here, it would be helpful. I earn below the IRS converted USD yearly salary to have to file taxes.

I really appreciate any help as I knew from the start this would be the thorn in my side.

    Much appreciated :)

  3. Hypothetically, but also 100% reality.... what if I do not receive either of these in the mail (postal)? The most stone age things about Mexico is their postal system. In the 7 years I have lived here, I have never received any mail that was sent to me from friends/family unless sent by courier. Me and the beneficiary both live here and are incredibly concerned as people say each of these have details on them that are needed. Any advice or work arounds would be appreciated. I got the email that my case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS California Service center, but unlike others I have seen, it does not provide a number to call after a specific date if the letter is not received in the mail.

    Thanks in advance!!!

  4. I have asked this question... I have seen at least 5 other people over time ask about the need for Police reports for the interview, and yet, each post gets 1 response or none. There HAS to be more people on this site that have done K1 or CR1 in Juarez that can help. The whole Federal Police report having to be obtained in Mexico City, is ridiculous and to expect anyone to pay a months salary for a flight should be taken into consideration. I REALLY hope that more people will chime in. I know this is one of our biggest annoyances thinking forward... cause if it isn't on the list of requirements for the interview, and then they ask for any of them there, and then give a RFE... that's not fair.

If you are writing "lockbox" on the address perhaps that is the reason DHL is insisting on a phone number.  The term lockbox generally refers to an unattended post office box.  The Lewisville address is a suite, not a PO box.  Perhaps if you inform DHL of this they will accept the package from you.  I also scoured the internet and cannot find a phone number for Lewisville.  If DHL insists on a phone number I would just write in a relatives phone number in the US in the event that DHL cannot make the delivery...but that's just me.  I even checked the USCIS site and they do not list phone numbers for these centers directly.  Good luck and GOD Bless you both.  david

Thank you! It was sent off. Not sure what number my fiance chose to list. Fingers and toes crossed.

What package are you sending and where are you sending it to?  They ask for a phone number at the destination address so if no one is there to accept the package they can call them and inform that they have a package they are attempting to deliver.

And also my address in here is too long.. ?

I too live abroad, but we don't live together for work purposes. Our addresses are too long,so we needed to make a Supplement. In the address line, add See attached Supplement. I can send you my supplement from the G-325a and the I-129F in a private message.

Hoping to recieve some help and poaitive Response. ThankYou In Advance..

    Hi Maria

My fiance has been in the US many times, but other than checking the box yes, that he's been there, all the rest are left blank as he is not currently in the US.

  10. Good morning!

I am assembling my package as we speak to mail tomorrow, using an ACCO clip to keep it all together. I have three questions...

    1) Should the Cover Letter be two hole punched and fastened, or left on top loose?

    2) Where does the G-1145 (e-Notification) page go? Above or below the Cover letter? Should it be two holed punched and fastened as well with the ACCO clip?

    3) I have the check to the US Department of Homeland Security in a plastic bag. I know this is the first thing in the package. Should it be clipped to the Cover Letter or the G-1145 (depending which is the first page) with a paper clip?

Thank you... and I can not wait to be done this step.

If he doesn't have any vaccine history documentation then he will need to have either tests to confirm if he's had any of the requirements or just have them administered. Take a look here for more info: https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/ti/panel/vaccination-panel-technical-instructions.html

This link is straight to a vaccine table broken down by age: https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/ti/panel/vaccination-panel-technical-instructions.html#tbl1

You should really try to obtain any vaccine history from back home for him and have them send it over to you. Or else, he'll have to have the tests or have them done all over. For the K-1 Visa at Juarez they're not too picky about it (from personal experience of my wife's process), however, once you cross into the U.S. and apply for AOS you'll definitely need all the vaccines current and up to date. A civil surgeon here in the U.S. will charge A LOT for that so get them done in Mexico if you can! ;)

    Thank you Maria!

Yeah, there is no way of getting his old files from Sweden. So we are planning on getting the injections here in Cancun, cause even the appointed doctors in Juarez charge a disgusting rate (especially at the exchange rate now) for locals. I work in a Hospital here in Cancun, so I can talk with a doctor regarding a test to see what he is already vaccinated for. They have them for cats and dogs, so I assume they do for people....I hope so at least.

This is the list, the doctor will tell you what's needed, based on his age. If possible, send him with his entire medical record to the medical appointment.

He doesn't have a medical file. Never been sick, never hopistlaized no vaccinations since moving to Mexico 10 years ago. I I have a list of possible vaccinations that a 37yrs could get, but if I can get an idea what others were told to do, we want to do them before the Medical. I know there are people out there that have done them, or was given the list. so I am hoping to get a response. Those listed on the CDC page covers all ages. And Influenza is only needed October - April...that I do know.

  13. I am not sure why this is such impossible information to find out. But if anyone can tell me what vaccinations men aged 37 will need for the Interview in Juarez it is GREATLY appreciate. I do not want to pay the inflated prices those medics charge, and want to have them done once we get notification that the application is approved. He is not Mexican, so he has no previous evidence of vaccinations as he has been out of him home country for 16 years. Any help is appreciated

  14. Gonna add another question to this thread as I have gotten not so constant responses elsewhere...

In regards to vaccinations. I know they are not necessary for K1 Beneficiary's to enter the US, but are needed for the AOS, so they said its not a bad idea to do them. What exact vaccinations are needed for a 37 year old male? And can these vaccinations be done prior to the Medical in Juarez? It will be a significant savings if they can be. Please let me know what is the best way to do this, and what is needed :)

    THANKS :)

    THANKS A MILLION!!!!

Do you have any feedback regarding getting mail here in Mexico? Did any papers USCIS/NVC/Embassy had to send to you get lost in transit?

    Hi Maria!

Can you take a look at this and let me know if you think this is good... to keep it all on the same page? I had to crop it, so there is a header just like the one you have, stating it is for My last residence addresses and employment the last 5 years. And the bottom has my signature and date.

Also, I am doing the same for the pictures (in a word document). Did you put a header on each page...or did you date and sign the bottom of each page?

    I appreciate your help :)

  16. Yeah, I have done that and we were planning 3 days MAX in Juarez, but we love Merida, and since there is a consulate there, and also ASC and Medicals, we figured it would be better for us mentally as we do NOT want to go to Juarez, but only for the interview. I know interviews for Immigrant Visa are only in Juarez (or DF if you live within the Sate of Mexico), BUT was hoping that the other steps could be done in a nicer, closer and safer place so we could get in and out of Juarez as fast as possible. Maybe as we get closer I can actually talk to someone within the Embassy to get verification. Thank you for your response. I can't wait until its all over (and I haven't even mailed the I-129F yet) :(
