I am a sept 2016 filer from Dallas. And I am still waiting for interview to be scheduled....

its crazy slow in Dallas FO. I had an false interview notice in May 2017 and few days later received a cancellation notice by mail, that my interview is cancelled and to wait for another notice. I called and Immigration officer explain that They send me by mistake the interview notice, that I still have to wait and has time. And nothing yet. I believe there are other September fliers who wait for interviews as well. But I just read that some November filers got their interviews for January, and some already are waiting for oath. So Dallas FO is working unpredictable, and there hasn’t any order. Definitely the PD is not something they are looking to. Good luck to you and to all Dallas people in this waiting game.

Prior to filling out the form, my case was still at NBC (National Benefits Center). After filling out the form(and it could be a coincidence), my case got transferred to Dallas Field Office.

 

I got an email from Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman saying that they have contacted USCIS regarding my case. 

 

So this might be another way to expedite our N-400 applications.

Thanks for the info, I just filled out the form and sent it to the ombudsman. Hope will help...

I also got in contact with an attorney company from Dallas. They said will help by contacting uscis and ask for information about my case. Their fee to do that is $500, and now I asked them what exactly to expect??? Here’s what I got in return: “we follow up your case with USCIS via email (which only Attorney can do) until USCIS acts on your case.” 

I am not sure what exactly they will do, but I think will try.

I just spoke to uscis customer service about my case. 

I filled on 9.15.16 and don’t have Interview yet, and the website is showing currently they work on 9.28.16 applications and maybe even October.

The officer wasn’t rude, but bottom line was to continue waiting, and that the biometrics are clean, and all I have left is to wait for an interview slot to be clear in Dallas Office.

Anyone with interview notice? Dallas people any news?

from what I am seeing in the processing time online, all August fillers should have received their interview notices by now. But there are people in August form that are still waiting, outside processing time. 

I realy hope, we all will get it done soon, it’s been over a year since we applied. I never believed it will take us so long. Please let us know, if someone has some good news to share.

No update here, I am really getting overwhelmed by this process. Friends from other states that filed after me had their passports months ago. I recently filed an online inquiry about my case status and the response came yesterday. It's saying that they can't see nothing unusual in my case and I have to make an infopass with my local office to find more current info. I am now in Chicago visiting relatives and I will be staying here for a while, so I can't schedule infopass anytime soon. The best thing I can do is just to hope to receive an email or massage with my interview scheduled. Good luck to all that are still waiting, and please guys keep us posted with your progress.

Hello, I am from Dallas with PD 9/19/16 I had a false interview notice, few weeks after I received cancellation notice. Now, I am waiting for next one. Dallas office is moving very slow, I can't believe it's already July and no one from this forum is having Interview yet.

Hello, I am with 19 Sept. PD. I received interview notice on May 4 with June 8 interview. Few days later, I got another notice saying my interview is canceled and to wait for new notice. So... not every September filer got their interviews. I called my attorney and she told me that now they have interviews with July and August filers. She also mentioned that they had more officers now, working in naturalization cases. It should get better. Hope you will receive your notice any day now. Dallas FO is moving very slow and the processing time increases every month.

I hope Dallas office will move a little faster now, I heard they have more officers working on naturalization cases now.
