Yes, the e-request does work with my case too. A lot of people got their interview already and a lot are still waiting. Some offices are moving faster than other, and mine (Dallas) is from the slowest possible....

That's frustrating, I don't understand why they are moving so slow.

how did you apply? Under 3 or 5 years rule?

I'm  thinking that people are moving fast under 3 year rule. 

I really will start prying for progress. I used to be very positive about this process.

PD is priority date, the date USCIS received you application

i just received SMS update 22:35pm checked my uscis account and here it is,

the long waited: 'Case Is In Line For An Interview'

since I did the biometrics, my status remained "Scheduled for Fingerprints...

and I did the FP on 10/11/16 and no update till today.

i am so excited ? 

we are moving Dallas, stay strong and good news will come.

No update here....still seeing the FP massage in the website.

I've tried calling but Dallas office seems to be very unhelpful.

Hopefully will receive a letter in the mail with interview date. I think Dallas office is very busy and nobody bother to do updates regularly. I am not in Texas and I can't schedule an infopass as a right now. Will wait patiently, what else to do... I am seeing a lot of people already did their interviews or at least know their dates. I really hope to receive a interview letter by the end of December. I have planned trips to Europe for next year and finger cross I will be a citizen by then. Wishing you the best! Have you call their 1-800 numbers and talk to L-2 officer? My case status hasn't updated but I already got my interview date. There's another lady here too that found out she's in line for interview after calling them. I don't rely on their online case status, which the l-2 officers told me the same.

Hey congrats for the interview. I think I will call tomorrow and try to talk to L-2. Will update the form if I got lucky and actually receive some info.

Yeah, I think that's what happen. The website doesn't show the updates. I was thinking to call but I read that a lot of people here in the forum complain about calling and receiving unhelpful info... so I decided not to bother my mind with worries and just wait to receive the interview letter. I believe that Dallas office is very busy but i am an optimistic person and hope for the best. Did you call to ask for yourself?

It's bloody frustrating, isn't it? Everyone I get an email with "Yay, I'm in line" I'm like, ah good for them. Then I go over to checking mine and still same old "biometrics appointment has been scheduled"

Actually, my 5 year GC anniversary is on 12/12/16 and I read that they don't put you "in-line'' until 1 mount befor your anniversary. If that's true I might get the massage next week.

I called yesterday and they had no updates, then I called the FBI, and they can provide a written confirmation that your background cleared along with a copy of the background..... in 12 to 14 WEEKS!!!

My status remains the same ''biometrics appointment has been scheduled"
