  1. Goodmorning vj friends,

how can a US citizen who filed for his son when he was still underage and now 27 years old, file again to bring him to United States? What are the processes involved?

The son missed to apply when petition was approved some years back and now his father - US Citizen want to file again but unsure how to go about it.

your kind contribution will be highly appreciated.

  2. Hello vj friends, i had condition removed on December of 2021 and citizenship interview February 2022. I passed the test but officer told me she need to pass it over to her supervisor before approving it. It’s been 3 months since my citizenship interview and I am still waiting and not even thinking about it.

last week I caught my spouse cheating with a guy whom she met while on vacation last year. She initially apologized but later asked for a divorce.

What do I do with my pending n400 since I filed under 3 years? Do I call USCIS and cancel it or withdraw?

Do I change my address when I leave?

I am so confused but at same time, I do not want to loose the money paid and start all over again.

    Please what do I do?

    Thank you.

  3. Hi I just found this link while reading through people's experiences. It's an experience with someone living illegally in Brazil. You will find his post helpful. From his timeline he was issued a visa despite being illegal in Brazil. Though it's been a long time but like I know, your fiance is immigrating and it won't be an issue so long as she has something to show that she has a record in Greece. Good luck.

  4. That is to show you that LOVE is inevitable. At this time you can't conclude there relationship is not real. I believe the two of them are in love. The young man would have given up if he had the intent to move to the US only and upon denial of his visa but now your mother is going to join him in Algeria and he is very happy, waiting to receive his love. Common, it's high time everyone understand the fact that age doesn't count when it comes to real love. Don't scare your mother with those ritual stuffs etc as advised. It may not convince her and may not help. She may see it that you dont want her happiness. Just talk to her as a smart daughter would advice her mother, that's all. Take her with you if you are not living together, and care for her.

  5. I don't know the format your fiance used in writing it, whichever way he chooses, the Intent to marry within 90 days of his arrival must be included and has to be signed and dated with his names as shown below

    sample is on VJ page

    Dear Sir or Madam:

I, (yourname), do hereby state that I am legally able and willing to marry (fiance(e) name) and intend to do so within 90 days of his/her arrival into the US using the K-1 visa.

    Yours truly,

  6. I don't think it will be an issue. i am trying to contact a friend whos' fiance overstayed. At first he was denied visa but he later submitted evidence of relationship (skype, call logs and more pictures) before he was issued visa. the reason for denial was not because of his fiance overstay.

if the co ask you, just tell him or her the truth and you will be fine. Your fiance don't need to go to your interview with you.

  7. From 2015 till date, America embassy in athens greece has stopped asking beneficiaries to bring their fiance during or after interview. your fiance doesn't nèed to go in with you. So he or she can stay at home or stay in a cafe close to the embassy and wait for you. If you are including your fiance's boarding pass as prove, the co may ask the last time you saw him or her. But I doubt if the co will ask you to go bring your fiance.

  8. Duration of his visits and prove of ongoing relationship may be the reason for denial coupled with the fact she is pregnant. The best option will be to reapply and by then she will have the baby. They may be waiting for her to have the baby and present a DNA test result when she and her husband reapply. Did she go to the interview with a paper from the hospital detailing how many months pregnancy as at the time of the interview? The co may doubt if there were questions she didn't answer correctly.

  9. She has to keep praying and then try to visit his fiance for a week, 10 days or even few days and upon return to the states notify USCIS and submit additional evidence (i.e. copies of her boarding pass, stamps on passport and 2 or 3 pictures). USCIS may be waiting to see if they can meet before approval. This is from experience.
