  1. When filling out the clubs and organizations portion of the I 485 did any of you include being part of the military as one? In Ukraine every male starting at the age of 16 has to register with the military. My husband was registered but he didn't get any training and didn't have to serve. He only got a medical done through them to make sure he was healthy. Thanks in advance!

  2. For those that have filled out the new version of the I 134 form question 26 states ' i have submitted a visa petition(s) to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on behalf of the following persons. Do I include this one that I am currently filing for or do they only want to know of any previous ones before this petition. Thank you in advance!

If your medical is fine and you don't need any additional tests, you will have your results at the same day. So, technically, you can schedule your interview the next day after medical. But I would recommend to make sure the medical results are good and only THEN schedule your interview.

P.S. Make sure they have given you form DS-3025 (vaccination record) along with medical results. You'll need the form for your next step here, in the US , when you apply for a green card. To be able to get DS-3025 you will have to bring your vaccination record, form 086/y if i remember correct.

    Good luck :)

Thank you!:) I got time off work in May so we are planning to schedule the interview around then that way he won't have to go alone. He wanted to schedule the medical after Easter thats why I was wondering.

Refer to the US Embassy/Ukraine official government website for instructions on scheduling your interview, as it has the most current official information:

     https://ua.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/how-to-apply/

According to the US Embassy/Ukraine website, scheduling an interview is very straight forward.  The "checklist" provided by your Embassy in the link above is what other countries call "Packet 3".  Some countries email Packet 3.  Some countries snail mail Packet 3.  Some countries have Packet 3 downloadable on their Embassy website - as in the case of my fiance from Canada.

Packet 3 checklists vary from country to country.  Before scheduling an interview, you are to complete the steps in the checklist.  According to the US Embassy/Ukraine, you are to complete the 4 steps prior to scheduling an interview:

    1. Complete your DS160 Online

    2. Assemble all documents for your I-134 Affidavit of support

    3. Schedule your medical examination

    4. Make and appointment/register for passport delivery

As long as your status on the CEAC website shows "Ready", you'll be good to go.  The process isn't difficult.  Just make sure you follow the steps accordingly.

    Good luck

    Thank you so much!

  5. I am confused about the status on my case... When I check on the NVC website it says in transit and in smaller words " your interview date was provided to you by the national visa center" I thought that once the case reaches the embassy I can schedule an interview date? If thats not the case then where do I find out when the interview date is?

Hey guys, is there any of you sent supporting documents for proof of relationhsips, like letters, emails, or text messages in a second language (not english) without translated and notarized and still got approved?

I sent some of our conversations through whatsapp, didnt translate anything and got approved. I also sent copies of reciepts and a copy of a train ticket and didnt translate any of that... just highlighted the date and place.
