That was my understanding also , is there a way to extend it , : the visa thru the embassy and also get a new medical ?

Thank you for the reply , I know in 2 years things can/may chance , any one else have any recent  I-751 bio-metrics and interview letter appointment letter to appointment date times. 

I-751 : How long after receiving the biometrics and interview letter in the mail is the appointment date normality , basically how much notice are you given for each appointment.

Interview appointment: Do I pick the date or do they?( how long from I-130 file date ) 

Medical is right before interview (within two weeks?)

You dont need a lot of evidence for a step child.  You will need passport photos etc once you get to the NVC stage.  You dont need any other relationship evidence than the marriage certificate photocopy. 

Are the passport photo submitted on line , if not how then ?

    My wife is here on a  K 1 visa we have  married and filed for AOS, EAD and AP, but we have not received EAD or AP yet,Is my wife permitted to attend English Second Language classes at our community college ? I spoke with a US immigration customer service person they  said contact the college it is up to them  ,I have called the college and they said they take any one for the class no matter the status .Any thoughts ?
