Hello, I am in the middle of the process of IR-1 / CR-1 visa and i have a relative is applying for the same case
it was hard and time consuming to prepare and read all the required docs so he is looking for some lawyer to prepare and fill the docs I-130 & I-864 and related docs
I know a couple in the US do it but he is looking for someone in Egypt (expecting it to be lower in cost)
do you know any one with experience in this type of work ?

Hello every one,
It is exciting now i got the email with
QuoteThe applicant is now in the queue awaiting an interview appointment overseas,
but this is a point i am missing here NVC say
QuoteNVC schedules appointments one month in advance. The U.S. Embassy tells us what dates they are holding
interviews, and NVC fills these appointments as they become documentarily qualified. Most appointments are set
within three months of NVC’s receipt of all requested documentation. However, before applicants in a numerically
limited (preference) visa category can receive an appointment, their priority date must also be current. This can
delay receipt of an appointment. You can track your priority date using the Visa Bulletin on travel.state.gov.
When an appointment is available, we will notify the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable). The
applicant can prepare now by reading about the embassy’s interview requirements online at nvc.state.gov/interview.
Thank you for your patience.so what i understand is i need to wait for the appointment that will be send to me from NVC but when i go to the preparation PDF for Egypt, cairo interview https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/iv-dv-supplemental/CRO - Cairo.pdf
i see the first step is the book appointment is required when i follow the link it does not talk me any where to book a date http://www.ustraveldocs.com/eg/eg-iv-visaapplyinfo.asp#U.S.EmbassyAppointment
what should i do now i was planing to get my medical examination but it require to have the appointment letter so am i stuck waiting the appointment or there something i should do ?

We applied with two I-864

but sent tax files for both (had only one year for my wife and added a letter explaining why only one year) and we moved to the next step
Thanks again

There is no first and second of two joint sponsors. Your wife is the sponsor, the family member who agreed to act as a joint sponsor would tick "I am the only joint sponsor."
Aha got it now
So for my wife will select 1.a "I am the petitioner. I filed or am filing for the immigration of my relative." and family sponsor will select 1.d "I am the only joint sponsor." in I-864 https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-864.pdf
And the other docs not required for my wife (tax transcript, w2 , ...) ?

Thanks for the fast response
So i Had to complete two I-864 forms and both my wife and the sponsor be the first and second of two joint sponsors
Do i need to send taxes transcript for my wife (which we do not have) and all the other docs ?

Hello,
I need some help filling the AOS affidavit of support, my wife the petitioner income can not support us in the AOS so we asked a family member to be the sponsor and he agree.
there is an option 1.d in form I-864 that say "I am the only joint sponsor." can i select this as i did not include any Taxes documents about my wife or he (the sponsor) must be one of two joint sponsors and my wife also must be one ?
Another Question about
in the checklist NVC sent there an item "Petitioner's civil Documents" and when i searched the form many topics say that it is not required to send any civil documents about the petitioner is it the same in this case ?

Hello all,
We are in the process for IR-1 / CR-1 Visa and our application moved to NVC and they sent us a check list of documents to prepare
two of the items are Court Records & Police Certificate, I find problem understanding what should i prepare and where/how to get that documents in Egypt
I think "Police Certificate" is the document we get from police station "فيش و تشبيه" is it ? if yes it is required to say to whom it is addressed, what should be said then ?
I have no ideas what is the "Court Records" and how to get them ?
Thanks, best regards

Hello
We are in the process of preparing our documents and filing Form I-130 with Form I-485, and live in the United States
We are planing to send the docs using UPS service to USCIS Chicago Lockbox as in https://www.uscis.gov/i-130-addresses
Regarding the fees should we just include a check in the documents ?
Also is there a problem if the name on the check other than the name of the person who filing the docs ? (sister for example)
