Hey all, submitted my N-400 package today on the 3 years marriage rule (although married for 4.5 years) with the following contents:

• Permanent Resident Card scan

• Marriage Certificate scan

• Driver’s licenses scans

• Joint tax returns the year 2017 through 2019

• Spouses Birth Certificate and US Passport scans

• Child Birth Certificate

• Few Joint Bank Account statements over the years of marriage

• Few Joint Utility Bills over the last couple of year

• Apartment Lease Agreements Scan

• List of labeled photos over the years of marriage

• Health Insurance Joint Enrollment over the last few years

Also I faced a very annoying issue when uploading files when they just disappear as soon as you switch to the application review page. Ended up following one of the advises I found online - uploading files one by one instead of in bulk.

I got an update about my case as well. New Card Is Being Produced!

It's been 472 days! My USCIS office is in San Francisco, so I thought I will end up waiting much longer. Great news for me! And glad to hear that cases are moving for the other folks as well!

I had my previously submitted fingerprints reviewed and accepted back in March. They changed their mind half a year later - I got a USCIS appointment requesting fingerprints just a few weeks ago 😅

So it looks like a common practice. You are lucky you did not have do go to USCIS to redo your prints again :)

Same here. Got a letter in mail that they are reusing the biometrics and the case is moved to further processing.

Nebraska 19-20.5 months

Texas 17.5-19.5 months

Vermont 16-17.5 months.

What to do with the work and travel permits? Do we have to request anything while waiting? My Permanent Resident card expires in less then 2 weeks!

Since your check has been cashed, you can call USCIS to know your case number. With the case number, you'll know which service center your packet was sent to and track the progress.

Did anyone else not received a text message but his checks been charged? I had my checks charged on October 30, and still no notice from USCIS. Neither text nor mail :(

There was no way to track SSN as it was sent by a regular mail letter. I just found it in my mailbox 7 days after SSA office visit.

We have been at USCIS office today and got approved on our case!

Our appointment was at San Jose, CA office at 7:35 am. We've been a little nervous because we had to wait about 20 minutes longer.

But the officer that finally called us was really nice.

There were no hard questions at all.

First he asked some questions regarding our personal information like birthday, place of birth, etc.

Then he asked how we met and asked if we have any new documents proving our married life and relationships. We gave him a copy of our apt lease, our joint insurance, phone bills, bank accounts, etc.

Also we showed some latest photos, including the one's we sent to USCIS with the rest of the package.

The overall interview lasted for 30 to 40 minutes, but it felt even faster.

My wife's parents also came over from LA to support us and talk to the officer if there will be a need. But there was no need.

So we hope to receive a Green Card in December

I have received my SSN card in mail yesterday and already updated it at my bank and at work.

It took only 6 days to receive it after I have filed a request at SSA office. And according to the mailing date on the envelope - SSA produced it just in 2 days.

Going to schedule a DMV appointment, and getting ready for a GC in a few weeks.

We applied to the SSN card this morning. Majority of the time was waiting in line before the office opens. When the number was called, it took 5 minutes.

The lady handed back the letter saying we applied but it will take up to 4 weeks due to DHS verification, etc. She said our status was not cleared yet.

Well, if you go to the SSA office today, how can we keep in sync?

Hope so. It's schedule for Friday. I usually get mails at 3pm and the SSA office closes at 4pm.

yes my status updated on 10/28 to " My card was mailed " and it was actually send on 10/31and i received it on 11/01and

yes when i signed up on MYUSPS i had to put in my address, email address and phone number. so i could get notified.

I figure you will get yours by friday or before... thats just a questimation

when i signed up for myusps i went into settings, and clicked for notifications for text and emails. i did both just in case the other doesnt work.and once you get a text or email you will see the info on your " My Packages "... and then you can click on scan history it will show you the whole transportation from when it was picked up til it is delivered. here is a pic of mine

Also I have noticed that your card was actually mailed a couple of days later then the status changed, according to the USPS scan history. So maybe I don't see mine yet because of the seas reason

just to let you know. mycase updated on oct. 28 to " card was mailed to me " and i thought i would get a tracking number but i didnt.

i signed up on myusps a couple of month ago, i got a text from usps today, thats how i knew i was suppose to get my card tomorrow, but luckly my mail runs late, i checked my mail at 4:30 for the regular timeit wasnt in it but received another text from usps at 6:06 PM saying it was delivered. so i ran to the mailbox again and at 6:07 PM i had my card in hand....so i dont know if they update to tracking number anymore or what, but i didnt get one.

I wonder if you were able to see that mail in the "My Packages" list at My USPS app? Or they just sent you a text notification and that's it?

Yeah! I can't believe it! Last month was too painful for us.

I am going to use a tracking app too. But I am not sure if they will update the status with tracking number. Let me know if you will get one.

My EAD was mailed today!!!

It took roughly 2 weeks to change to "Card Was Mailed" from "Card Is Being Produced" . Too slow!

I got an update that my ead was mailes today. When will i get the tracking number for it?

I've got an approval in mail only for my AP on the same day as you did. But nothing on EAD

I am so frustrated of waiting!

Going to USCIS office today (having an InfoPass appointment). Hopefully I will be able to speed up the process somehow. I have a letter and offer from my employer.
