you didnt have any of those documents with you like duplicate originals or copies when you went to the interview? what happened now can you update

Fmab I didn't have to bring any affidavit of support with me to the interview cause it had already been sent to the consulate by the NVC. They will let you know when to bring through a letter sent to you.

Your wife couldn't have held out until you got you immigrated?! No offense, but how stupid is that.... A little thinking before acting might come in handy...

You have to report the changes and fill out a new I-864, including for the household member which is now the joint sponsor

So the household member is now becoming a joint sponsor? And we have to fill out a new form of I-864.  The household member makes 30,000.00$ a year, is possible to be an eligible joint sponsor? Any reply appreciated

  3. Hey everyone. Back for another question I really need to find out. So since my wife and I were asked for a joint sponsor, my wife communicated with the embassy and she suggested if she could submit new papers since she started working and include a member of her family in the papers as a household member so they exceed the guideline poverty. However, they replied and confirmed that she could do it. As you know I had my interview previously and I was given a letter asking for a joint sponsor and going through administrative processing. So my wife sent me the papers and I submitted the papers since my wife got a job along with her household member both make more than the poverty guideline. It's been a month since I submitted papers and now my wife quit her job for some reasons about two days ago and now she is looking for another place. What I wanted to ask is that do we have to report that my wife had quit her job cause my wife told me we have to or we should wait till we know what they decide regarding our case? It's been 6 months since the interview date that I had and a month since we submitted our new papers. What should we do? My wife is very possible to get a new job. Thanks for your help in advance.

Do you have any income of your own because if you are just missing the poverty level by a certain amount I was thinking you can just add one of the sponsors and put it with your income to get you over the poverty level guidelines

Uhmmm that is in case the sponsor is in the same household! What I wanted to know is can both of them be a joint sponsor even if they are not married and neither of them can sponsor solely?

  5. Hi everyone there. I have had my own topic here and got some answers. I'm coming back for one more question. I had my interview 3 months ago and it just went not bad I answered all the questions needed and had plenty of evidence. But at the end happened what wasn't expected! The CO handed over a letter says that I needed a joint sponsor and I was put through Administrative processing! My wife and I have been looking for a joint sponsor so we found a couple who live together to help us. My question is that: is it possible for a couple a man and his gf to be a joint sponsor since they can't do it separately?  I mean of either of them wanted to be a joint sponsor they wouldn't be qualified only when both of them do it?  Another question is that we have considered to hire a lawyer in case that wouldn't work out. Is it possible for a lawyer to take care of the sponsorship like he or she can get us one to sponsor or get some bank account to sponsor? Any reply would be appreciative. Thank you all in advance

  6. Hey everyone, I had started a similar topic before but just lost it since they have updated their site. However, I'm coming back for more questions regarding my case.

As I told you before that after my interview I was handed over a paper of 221g the CO asked for a joint sponsor and I was put through Administrative processing! So it's been 3 months now my wife and I were waiting for a women who took up the mission to help us but she failed us in the end and decided to give in. My question is that my wife knows two people who are actually a couple, is it possible for a couple to be a joint sponsor who lives together for me? I mean they are two persons not one to sponsor? Any reply is appreciated to add up the consular officer asked for I-864 to fill out. Tnx in advance

  7. Hey everyone, I'm coming back with so much sadness cause my wife and I have been going through so much disappointment. We have been looking for a joint sponsor for over than three months now but in vain. My wife doesn't know many and all of them weren't qualified to sponsor. We are desperately looking for a solution. My question is that is it possible to hire a lawyer and the lawyer can take care of it? Any reply is appreciative Tnx

  9. Hi, I had my interview just yesterday and after the interview the consular officer gave me a letter that includes a denial under section 221(g) for some missing document of the joint sponsor. She highlighted precise rows that said " please provide the joint sponsor's original signed affidavit of support (I-864) along with proof of his/her citizenship or legal permanent resident status and his/her W2 and complete federal income tax return transcript from IRS for the year 2015".

My wife had already sent that to the NVC, the original signed affidavit of support along with federal income tax Return Of the last three years that includes year of 2015! And now I got a pending denial because of it! Please what should we do in this case. My wife had sent those forms to the NVC before the interview! Is possible those forms were missed? And I was put for administrative processing as well. The consular officer delivered my passport to me is that a bad sign or what? I want to proceed the visa issuance as soon as possible what should I do please help.

Any soon reply will be appreciated
